Gamine strikes back with the fourth release, this time by Signal Corps, a duo consisting of Tom Butcher and Mike Perkowitz. Stepping between the nicer side of electro and punchy new beat, this solid five-tracker is a serious tool for dancefloors and afterhours. Groovy rhythmic arps and beautiful acidic melodies are combined to produce the perfect blend between old-school flavour and contemporary effectiveness.

Resurfacing a precious gem released back in 2013, we once again make justice by pressing it into pristine 12” polyvinyl glory. Enjoy!

We are super happy to have as a guest for our podcast series, a session by no less than Daniel Paul, an amazing artist and one of the most lovely human beings out there. Half of the outstanding duo Cab Drivers, Daniel Paul’s heart beats to the rhythm of house music. He just loves to get the beat going and get the dance-floor moving. 

Born and raised in east Berlin, he has been making top notch quality electronic music for over 30 years. He’s worked and collaborated with artists such  as “Daniel Bell”, “Richie Hawtin”, “The Stickman”, “4hero”, “Chez Damier”, “Jazzanova”, “Henrik Schwarz”, “Capitol A”, “Victor Dupleaux”. Recent releases include artists like “Audio Werner”, “Youandewan”,  “Subb-an”, “Vicmari”, without forgetting his latest project with Brawther, “BruDan”.

Alongside his rare solo projects he’s produced many tracks with his partner in crime Zky as “Cab Drivers”, “The Poor Knight”, “Compass”, “Horseshoe”, “Warten Borgmann”.
Co- Founder of Cabinet Records, one of the most prestigious labels in the underground scene since 1995. 
As “Daniel Paul” he has releases on “7th City”, “Shari Vari”, “Highgrade”, “Plus8” and numerus remixes on many other labels.

So with no further ado, we are pleased to share with you this new episode! You can expect something in between underground and overground, techno and house, soul and drive, deep and fun, dub and disco!

Steen Kong Mogensen always kept a low profile and simple and straightforward approach to DJ-ing, doing it for the love of the party, people and music. 

He has been digging vinyl for 40 years, four decades in which his music collection amounted to tens of thousands of club-ready records. He became one of the pillars of the Danish underground scene, throwing multiple raves and parties back in the day, booking names that would eventually become legends of house and techno and owning his own imprint, Multiplex, which gave life to a crazy amount of quality and boundaries pushing music between 1995 and 1998 and more recently since 2017.

PW In Focus is a series of mixtapes aimed at introducing DJs, selectors in performers that played out DJ Bar in the recent past or are set to do so in the near future.
