Lou Vincent is a UK-born, Berlin-based DJ and radio show host. His alias serves as a proud homage to his Caribbean roots in St. Vincent and fascination with what his parents played in his childhood home. A deeply personal selector, he has a library consisting of a wide-ranging catalogue of soulful and percussive tracks, focusing more on storytelling than specific genres. He's a tastemaker, captivating audiences with jazz, hip-hop, electronica, house, dub and techno. A constant throughout all this is his love for thoughtful pitch-shifted vocals and finding simplicity in repetition and groove. He often breaks traditional formats by incorporating spoken word and field recordings from his day-to-day life, inviting the audience into his musical world.
