The mood changes and opens up. You feel you belong to that moment, exactly there in that grim surrounding, alone, when most of the city sleeps. But are you really alone? Out of the nearby trainyard the sound of a rattling spraycan reaches your ear...

You perambulate. Observing, from the outside looking in. You visualize your mind, your body and your soul - united, glowing and pulsating. 'Astral Projections' send long forgotten snapshots from a happy childhood. Everything feels sepia-drenched, warm. Time means nothing in this world. Reach up, touch the stars and become one with your inner self!

The title track wastes no time and takes you straight into sinister realms. Your
synapses whisper 'ecstasy' to your terrestrial shell while you're in the corner of
a darkened floor, throwing wild shapes to the grinding synths. Suddenly an
uplifting pad transcends the room. You know you should maybe pause and
rehydrate, but the full-throttle rhythm already returns, sucking you straight
back in - there is no escaping from this pulsating groove!

No set release date for this yet as you all know these times are crazy!

My name is Dan aka Johnny Clash and I’ve been around for a while and I like and play all kinds of music. This is very much a jungle mix though not quite entirely and I believe it will take you on a journey, which is DJ talk for it’s a mess but I think it just about hangs together.

A big thank you to my good friend the lovely Uncommon Sense who introduced me to a few of the key players in this mix, and in fact was the one who brought Foot Long Records along to hear me play out. So it’s her fault. Shout out to my main northern hangout Stumblefunk ‘le fluff diabolique’ which has been the location, literally and emotionally (can I say spiritually? yeah, let’s say spiritually as well) for many of the shenanigans which have led up to this moment. Foot PrintZ Sessions - 031 - Johnny Clash (Read Description)

The duo Two Turntable returns with strong creative energy on their new release, Inspire Me EP, delivering two Liquid Drum and Bass tracks shaped by introspection and sonic experimentation.

The opening track, “My Jazz is Jungle”, acts as a bridge between tradition and innovation: deep, organic basslines intertwine with jazz-inspired improvisations, recreating an atmosphere that nods to the genre’s roots while pushing into contemporary territory. The beats flow smoothly, guiding the listener through a journey that shifts between contemplation and motion.

The title track, “Inspire Me”, expands on this concept with an even more immersive approach. Here, the basslines take on a more experimental character, blending with ethereal pads and pulsating rhythms that evoke both hope and reflection. The result is an emotive Liquid DnB experience—subtle yet powerful.

With this EP, Two Turntable reaffirms their identity as artists unafraid to break formulas, exploring the less obvious paths of Drum and Bass. Dublin's inHabit Recordings are back with their latest offering in Pitch037's Chameleon EP.
