His wide ranged influences span the sounds of classical, jazz, acoustical music and techno. He expertly collects these different schools of sound in his productions delivering soul shaking music. He has recently been featured on @hypnus-memoirs and released massive contributions for @liminalspacesmusic, @thegodsplanet , @aardenrecords and many more. Welcome to another codecast X experience.

For this one we're introducing Ronny Pinazza.

Born and raised between the fantastic mountain valleys of the Italian Dolomites and the industrial city of Ludwigshafen in Germany, he spent most of his childhood playing in the woods. This past still connects him inseparably from nature and its forms of life.
He tries to convey this feeling of the infinite timelessness of the soul of nature with music in an understandable language.

His productions are experimental, unorthodox. Since he is not a musician, he uses this "ignorance" and the freedom that results from it.
Hypnotic rhythms and driving beats characterize his tracks, always filled with natural sounds.

His goal is to express these inner feelings with music, so in 2021 he set out his journey to develope his musical language.

“This journey will be endless, full of universes yet to be explored and they are
all within us“.

Dycide has a unique approach to the music he produces, to the music he plays, to the stories he tells. A lengthy conversation and sound waves carry you deep into the jungle, deep into our-like culture yet with non of its crushing weight on the shoulders. So keep it real and do what you want, you are but a sound wave  in the vast deep sea.

Dycide's music is best described as intricate rhythms combining various percussive textures while keeping a subtle atmosphere. This creates a very minimalistic sound without losing the importance of storytelling. While his other passion, the art of programming, lets him experiment with generative art, both in visual and auditory work. In 2018 Dycide co-founded the audiovisual label IO together with his close friends MTRL & Polygonia. The label already counts many successful releases and has gained a deep following over the years.

Hello everyone, let's kick off the new month of June with this warm and subtle vinyl mix from Velvia ! 

Velvia is a French DJ and vinyl collector, who is also a great visual artist as a film photographer. He has already released some superb vinyl mixes on famous channels such as Lowless, Codecast and Music for Interstellar Spacecrafts. His style covers a wide range, but what can most easily be defined is that his sound is always deep, organic and emotional. For this new episode, he offers us some ‘caviar’ music, always an excellent selection and some superb DJ tricks that take us through an hour of dreamy music, first cloudy then gradually sunny, perfect to be listened for a nap under the sun.
