Episode 24: Atomic Moog

Installment number 65 of our series comes from the city of Leipzig.
Here, Jonas started his Kontinum project in 2016. Focussing on atmospheric and dissociative techno. Over the years, his sound evolved and ranges from ambient, deep techno to contemporary club-oriented sets. Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound and has had the chance to release on labels such as The Gods Planet, Lowless and Oslated.

Last month he founded is own label, Mnestic Records. The goal is to release club-orientated but deep music. Perfectly in line with our series.

Klara is a DJ and producer based in Skopje. She has released on Warok Music, Annulled, Circular Limited, Charybdis, Oslated and recently started her own imprint focused on atmospheric electronic music - Lāsya.

● Khoros Records launches a new concept called Khoroχρόνος.As you may know Khoros is a greek word (χώρος) meaning something like room or space,χρόνος it's an also greek word meaning time.
Khoroχρόνος will be a room or a space for invited artists to express themselves through their music,their point of view.

● 5th timelapse so far and it's time for Hod.He introduced himself on Khoros before some months on AM || VA followed by his recently EP ''Charm of the Waters'' that we really enjoying so much.Heavy kicks combined with saturated basses covered by cinematic dronepads as his signature sound he has achieved so high standard results especially the last six months.With releases on Circular Limited,Aarden Records,Sequencias Temporales,Liminal Spaces,Diffuse Reality,KVLTO and ofc Khoros Records to name a few he has put himself on a very serious role of Hypnotic Techno scene.Hats off for this talented guy!

Phazed Realities
He stepped through the revolving door of the old hotel, expecting the familiar lobby. Instead, he emerged into a sunlit meadow, fragrant with wildflowers. Confused, he turned back, but the door was gone.
The meadow rippled like a mirage. He took a step, and the world shifted. Now, he stood on a bustling city street, skyscrapers casting long shadows.
Another step, another shift. He found himself in a dimly lit room filled with ancient books and the scent of aged paper. A cat purred against his leg.
Curiosity growing, he walked forward again. A stormy cliffside replaced the room, waves crashing below, wind howling.
With each step, a new reality appeared: a tranquil beach, a dense forest, a vast desert. Wonder and fear, like twin threads, wove through his every step as he ventured deeper into these layers of existence.
Finally, he found himself back in the hotel lobby, where his journey had begun. The revolving door spun lazily behind him, a silent invitation to the unknown. A smile of anticipation played on his lips, his heart brimming with the readiness to explore the endless phazed realities beyond the door.

Bio/
"Monophaze started off his musical career as a punk rock drummer 
At his former age, he studied percussion so far, and then he switched to synths and machine cause of my passion for electronic stuff and music.
He was inspired by many techno wizards, such as ALEX BAU, VRIL, and DUSTIN ZAHN.
Right after, he discovered the dub techno field, which he's still searching for inspiration in; he played in the past in several clubs around his zone, such as "TENAX" in Florence.

His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno.

His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic structures. He is resident at the Alpenglühen and Taiga sessions and owner of the label Antimatter together with Bule.

He is also the owner of Alpenglühen (the label) focused in deep and ambient techno which explores the thin line between light and darkness.
