2021 saw NY’s Liondub join forces with Matos+Lovelace to showcase talent across the Jungle Drum & Bass spectrum on Uproar Audio, a sub-label of Liondub International. For the imprint’s 10th release, 21-year-old Bristol based El Laurie steps up and delivers 5 filthy, experimental D&B cuts to kick off 2022 strong. Known primarily for pushing out 140 bits, El Laurie provides us with a look in on his forward thinking 175 sound. Rave stabs & ragga samples are paired with aggressive Jungle inspired D&B breaks & monstrous distorted b-lines that are warped violently. El Laurie is thinking outside the box and hitting very hard from the jump. Another one to watch!

We are celebrating International Women’s day with E-Lisa. For those of you that don’t know E-Lisa she is a incredible female artist based in Essex. 

Not only is E-Lisa a talented selecta and Mixer. She is a producer, Singer, Songwriter, She can play Piano and Guitar. 

We have not only chosen to work with E-Lisa to celebrate International Woman’s day because of her talent but because she is a inspiration. She is a hard working mum that shows us all that you can be a amazing mother and do what you love.

Despite being a busy lady E-Lisa has shown her support to many people in the music scene working alongside many DnB legends. E-Lisa has become to be known as a legend herself. 

She has Judged on Mix Masters working alongside legends like Nicky Blackmarket. E-Lisa is also signed to Dread Recordings. 

E-Lisa is a hard working promoter herself running regular nights in Essex under her brand Method Liquid DnB. She is also a station Manager at UK Flava and has a regular show on Funky SX Fm.

Futuristic roots was conceived out of a love of Jamaican music and the sound system culture it spawned as the first ever bass lead genre, since the sixties Jamaicans have pushed the boundaries sonically in the dance halls and socially through conscious thinking, this album is our take on the evolution of those genres.
