HØLEIGH has been contributing to Manchester’s darker side of dance for several years, but began to surface in late 2019 which saw her transition to techno, electro and trance. Prior to this, Høleigh was collecting a broad range of UK dance styles, hardcore, hard house, trance and hard techno. Musical elements from these genres are echoed in her track selection. This evolution most likely accounts for the predilection of 145bpm+. Accelerating from start to finish and constantly shifting through the gears, Høleigh’s intuition when performing resonates with dancefloors and its punters, all of which stems from her dynamic and idiosyncratic way of mixing and using dj equipment innovatively, this hour long mix plays testament to what separates herself from others.

MOTZ Premiere: Buffalo In Crime - Spheric Waves

Glasgow born and Berlin based DJ and Producer I.E has been making a name for himself in the techno and trance scene for some time now. His style leans towards the heavier sides of these genres intertwining heavier sounds such as gabber and schranz. Having releases a number of track on his own imprint Ismus as well as Space Trax, MITSU2000, EXTRA ENERGY and Wav:es, he has plenty more project in the works. I.E is the co-owner and label manager of the infamous Ismus project in Berlin. He also holds a residency with the Streck collective based out of Gothenburg, Sweden.

The quiet beginning of the track invites you to dream and is perfect as an intro track for any set.
