This set was recorded live in Playa Venao, Panama for Weekend 2 of Reactor Venao festival. I played from 1:00-4:00am inside of the Reactor project and was really feeding off of the high energy from the dancefloor during the entire 3 hours -- it was such an epic and unforgettable night. Since I started DJing, playing for sunrise on the Mayan Warrior was always one of my absolute dreams… This Sunday morning was undoubtedly the most magical journey I’ve ever experienced, the culmination point of an outstanding week in the desert and highlight of my musical journey…  :’) Dear dancers, thank you for your incredible energy, for all the smiles and the joy!!! Just being there surrounded by all my friends made it truly exceptional, dancing all together as one, as if nothing else existed than the pure ecstatic bliss of this moment! The most beautiful dream. We are all divine creators, now is the time to remember our infinite powers!
 
I’m so infinitely grateful to have gotten the chance to co-create this musical cosmic exploration with you guys, and incredibly happy to now release the set here! 2/3 of the tracks are my own productions, and many of them not released yet I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

Playing on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man is a dream I’ll never get tired of living. Robot Heart is a constant source of inspiration to me and so many others! Grateful for the opportunity to play on the bus again. 

This year (2024), my set time was Monday Morning at 7:00 am so I wanted to prepare something special for the beginning of an unforgettable week. 

I decided to play a live set filled with most of the Edits/Remixes I’ve made along the years (for example: Edits/Remixes I’ve made of Alice Coltrane, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Michelle Gurevich, Acid Pauli, Nicolas Jaar, Fred Again, etc…). 

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result of this experiment! 

Massive thanks to the Robot Heart fam and everyone who was there!

The most beautiful setting. Deep into the night the vibes were high, but also emotional. I loved playing this set and I enjoyed every minute of it. If you were there, this is to revive a really special moment, if you weren't there, i hope this can transport you there.

¨A last set in a first time Burn, closing a full circle in the Mayan and Maxa link up, playing between a Sandstorm and the ashes of the Temple, where not only me, but many of us left tears, hugs and memories on its walls to be taken by the fire. 

Sharing this moment with @madmotormiquel, a musician and person that I am so lucky to call a friend, with whom I feel the trust to musically go anywhere, and some of our closest and dearest friends as a last dance was beyond special. 

Mayan family, thank you for your trust in us to guide a musical journey in this delicate and emotional moment, and for the best closure we could wish for.¨

Thomas and Julien are Dutch brothers from South of France. They propose either Hybrid DJ or live acts cutting from Jazz, House & Techno  mixing several genres while keeping this uplifting, dirty and groovy feel. 

Passionates in authentic sounds, they produce their music through field recordings. Their video concept "A Day In” translates cultures through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. They already have concluded first collaborations with Gnawa musicians in Morocco, Huichol tribe musicians in Mexico, Icelandic choir, and musicians from Osaka, Bengalor, Fiji Island, Bangkok and more. 

With releases on Crosstown Rebels, DGTL, Sapiens, Bar 25 and their own imprint, Klassified Records, the two brothers also run the Klassified Studios, a co-creative space in Amsterdam.
