I named this track "duckstep.mark 2" because, like it's predecessor on Beginnings, the horn sound reminded me of a duck. Then the more I build around it, it sounded less like a duck, so I added another horn section to compensate. It also has one of my favourite drum sounds I've ever created. It sounds good on it's own but the bassline gives it the movement it needed to carry the track forward.

Adam Weiss is exploring music with all aspects of his experience.
Fomally an active guitarist in Texas and in the North East, Adam performed a wide range of music from rock, jazz, to classical.
 Regaining his roots as a horn player with over 24 years experience, Adam has become known in Austin and San Antonio amoung the local symphonic bands and orchestras.

While influenced by the Philly and NYC jazz scenes, Adam has started his own jazz ensemble playing favorite standards with an old school and new school twist.

Thomas and Julien are Dutch brothers from South of France. They propose either Hybrid DJ or live acts cutting from Jazz, House & Techno  mixing several genres while keeping this uplifting, dirty and groovy feel. 

Passionates in authentic sounds, they produce their music through field recordings. Their video concept "A Day In” translates cultures through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. They already have concluded first collaborations with Gnawa musicians in Morocco, Huichol tribe musicians in Mexico, Icelandic choir, and musicians from Osaka, Bengalor, Fiji Island, Bangkok and more. 

With releases on Crosstown Rebels, DGTL, Sapiens, Bar 25 and their own imprint, Klassified Records, the two brothers also run the Klassified Studios, a co-creative space in Amsterdam.

Ixon Media Works is a music production entity. There are 3 main units that are part of this entity. 1) Blanck Diskette which produces Lounge. 2) White Paper Science produces House 3) The iLL Fuul Schuul is a band. 

Chris Cracknell is a Producer, Mix Engineer, DJ and Broadcaster based in Brighton in the UK. Currently hosting a bi-weekly show on Totally Wired Radio, producing music for artists and for his own releases, he is also the owner and engineer at Gold Tone Studio in Hove...
