Slam City Jams is finally back after a little hiatus and happy to welcome our talented  buddy Fufi.SNC on the label. Hailing from Ingolstadt, a city one hour away from  Munich, Fufi is no stranger to the scene and was on our radar for quite some time now. 
He is one third of the ever amazing SNC crew, a party and label collective, and has  been impressing us with his breakbeat-heavy analog live sets over the past years. After his debut EP on Marlon Hoffstadt’s "Savour The Moment" label in 2020 he joins the  Slam City Jams family with the "Monsterra Mansion" EP. 
We are starting things off with "Back Strike", a breakbeat monster full of irresistible rave  stabs, heavy sub bass and a beautiful crying acid line. Next up you find the hidden hit  of this EP: "Raves On Sundays“ featuring the mysterious DJ Kolibri. A tune full of  tension, that keeps on building up with a dramatic 303 melody you won’t get out of your head for some time. On the flip we have "Running Home" - a super deep acid  breakbeat affair for the late hours (even though this probably means 10pm these days). 
Finally the EP is rounded off by the title track: "Monsterra Mansion" is a stripped back  up-tempo four to the floor jam, with a grooving bass and dreamy chords that fans of Roza Terenzi will love. Fufi.SNC treats us with four dope tunes written in times of  isolation, but made for days were we all meet again on the floor.

The air was fresh and clean; it cleared her nostrils as she inhaled deeply. Out here in the wilderness, she couldn't have felt further away from the city, away from the smog of the concrete jungle and the stress of the morning commute. It was a miracle what nature could do for the mind and the body; the green landscape and untouched woodlands brought with it a tranquility that was unmatched. If she could have her way, she'd never leave this place.

On Rotation have steadily built a reputation throughout the Leeds underground for their amazing parties that hone in on both local talent, as well as welcoming some of the most exciting international names around. After several years of events, it was only natural that the next step would be to add a label arm, and who better to kick things off than their resident, good pal and a producer who's been pushing out the good stuff at a relentless rate: Adam Pits.

Marking his debut album, following EPs for Holding Hands, Seven Hills, X-Kalay and more, 'A Recurring Nature' takes inspiration from a year immersed in nature whilst clubs were a distant memory. Straddling introspective and extroverted moods, the eight tracks across the release show off Adam's versatility as a producer; he's just as at ease crafting spaced out downtempo cuts as he is straight up club bangers.

It had been a week of relentless flowers, cards and romantic gestures; most of which had been hastily disposed of. She no longer wanted to be reminded of the events that had led them to this point, yet these olive branches kept coming. But they were having the adverse effect - the higher the quantity, the more annoyed she became. The damage had been done and no matter the efforts now, it was not enough.

She may have come to notoriety through Floorplan, her DJ and production partnership with her father Robert hood, but Lyric has now firmly cemented herself as a talented producer in her own right. Released via Hood's own imprint M-Plant, her first solo work came in 2019 with the double-header ‘Nineteen / 11:11’, followed by another two tracker last year, ‘Everything / Social Distance’. Now she's returning for her hat-trick on the label: two cuts, 'Not Enough' and 'Praise You', which marry her personal tastes in techno and house with echoes of her production work as Floorplan.

The event was a feast for the senses; an overwhelming blend of smells, sights and sounds. It was as though a monochrome world had just been flooded with saturation, everywhere they looked things demanded their attention. That went for more than just the colourful display of attendees, snippets of conversations juicier than an the ripest orange drifted into their ears, secrets that seemed to hold no importance to those divulging them. Maybe for today, but tomorrow they'd return back to reality, back to a world in black and white.

Over the last two and a half years, Leeds-based producer Krotone has been teasing out a series of self-released records which have become staples in the bags of DJs like Laurel Halo and Ciel. It's been a year since the fourth instalment and now we're getting to wrap our ears round number five. Like his previous EPs it's packed with heads down rollers; layering shuffling syncopated rhythms and metallic synth washes over that warm sub weight.

There was much to be said for those operating in the shadows; they kept themselves out of the limelight, uninterested in adhering to stereotypes or expectations. They had no interest in such things, only in their work and their mission, which served those who upheld similar values and beliefs. What they were creating was guided by honest intentions; it was purely for the culture.

Far East Flight is the brainchild of Lithuanian DJs Jokios Kulturos and Adventure Society, who come together to share their love of hypnotic trance and the rave culture of the 90s. Set for release on Electric Shapes, who've recently put out EPs from Tadan, Rambal Cochet and Tribalistic Junkies Of Universe, the LP explores all corners of trance, from Goa rhythms and classic and psychedelic strains to downtempo, playful cuts.

met in the studio, the Original Mix is a dusty deep house

to. For Astratto, Ragoo Records co-founder, this
represents his first official vinyl release. Brine has
delivered hot tracks through the infamous Irma and has
recently appeared on Boogie Cafè Records and Trend
Records. On the A2 Sam Ruffillo offers an impressive
remix that merges the Original to the land of jazzy vibes
with some smooth Rhodes and an extra groovy bassline.
Over the last years Sam Ruffillo has been releasing great
EPs via Irma Records and the Bristol-based Boogie Cafè.

DJ Rou’s remix occupies the flip side with a real classic
deep house joint full of warm pads and rolling drums. Chief of L'Archivio record store in Bologna, charismatic DJ and
outstanding producer, DJ Rou has released his music
through labels such as Bosconi Records, Cognitiva, Red
Rooster and Daphian Prod. The B2 remix is produced by
D’Arabia, Red Rooster founder and House of Disco
affiliated artist, who accomplishes an hot groove
explosion, with a special Jamiroquain feeling, perfect for
burnin’ the dancefloor. This EP is intended to be a
snapshot of Bologna’s house music scene. All artists
featured on it are based in the city and contribute to its
musical landscape.
