Paralocks aka Jerry van den Heever began his psytrance journey in the year of 2007. After experiencing the Cape Town outdoor party scene over the summer of 2006 the longing to better understand and comprehend these frequencies urged him to begin to create his own music. Thus the project Paralocks was born. (Locked with the parallel dimension.)

The initail influences of the project were that of the 'darker' artists performing in the Cape Town scene at the time. After experiencing the Noizy Radicals event in 2008 the direction of Jerry's music shifted in a different direction focusing on higher speeds than the usual SA speed limit (148 bpm), high tech glitches incorperated into large dynamic soundscapes.

Anderson This thesis discusses the reasons for the emergence of the American counterculture in the mid-1960s, and makes a significant contribution to the existing literature on the subject with an innovative methodology. Historians have neglected to study the counterculture’s grievances, the issues, and events that birthed it, employing a systematic year-by-year analysis. And few have used the sources most appropriate for drawing conclusions: the underground press, a medium hippies used to communicate with other like-minded individuals. This thesis does both. The most imperative factors that led to the emergence of the counterculture can be firmly placed in the first years of the 1960s. Students and dropouts feared the prospect of worldwide nuclear annihilation, and railed against the Cold War and the Cold War consensus that left little in the way of political alternatives. Rave Kombat aka Vinyas Bhagwat is from India, a musical snob and he's ravenous for high-tech psytrance.
Being raised by very liberal and supportive parents he had the typical stoner teenager years, going to raves and concerts and having his first perception altering- and dance experiences.

He began his psytrance journey in the year of 2011. After experiencing the first darkpsy party in Goa he started understanding better about  the power of music and psychedelic culture. 
 
Thus the project Rave Kombat was born. His fascination for music, speakers and visual arts will only push him to work harder in his future.

Focusing on higher speed music ranging from 170 - 200 + BPM
