Yogi Bhajan called this the mantra for the aquarian age.  When we chant it we affirm that we are timeless, deathless beings.  This is one of the "Aquarian Sadhana" mantras.  It is known for giving victory in all aspects of life.
 
It is said that when we are challenged in life there are three impulses we confront: One is to be alone/to withdraw, another to deny or fantasise about the future, another to live greedily or in scarcity instead of prosperously.  This mantra is to help one overcome these tendencies and give courage and caliber.

This was one of the first mantras I ever learned and I've loved chanting it ever since. The Mangala Charn Mantra is often used for protection or safety when traveling. This track works perfectly for an 11 minute meditation. 

Here's the translation:
Aad Guray Nameh (I call upon the primal wisdom)
Jugaad Guray Nameh (I call upon the wisdom through the ages)
Sat Guray Nameh (I call upon the true wisdom)
Siri Guru Dayvay Nameh (I call upon the great, unseen wisdom)

That great wisdom is unseen because it's inside of YOU! This mantra can help you get closer to your own inner-teacher.
