Spelled Out is a choral street‑ritual album depicting the first night after a planet‑wide tyranny collapses.
Told entirely through spelled‑letter language, vocables, and communal chants, the album traces a single uninterrupted arc: fear, listening, movement, collapse, gathering, celebration, grief, resolve, and dawn.
There are no heroes and no speeches. Authority disappears not with a declaration, but with silence. Streets become gathering spaces. Language dissolves into sound. Meaning emerges collectively.
Interludes function as ceremonial breath — moments of suspension, aftermath, and transition — allowing the album to unfold as lived time rather than plot.
The final track, “Spelled Out,” resolves the album by decoding its own cipher, revealing the simple human truth the entire record has been circling:

We lived under fear.
We listened.
We moved quietly.
The system broke.
We gathered.
We celebrated.
We remembered the cost.
We promised not to repeat it.
Morning came — and the streets belonged to us again.

Some freedoms last less than a minute.
Thirty-seven seconds is all it takes to leave the grey behind.

This track was born from a single image: a woman who spent 
eighteen years filing herself away — in drawers, in flat shoes, 
in meeting rooms with no windows. Until one Saturday morning, 
a small bird tilted its head, spread its wings, and didn't 
ask permission.

"Thirty-Seven Seconds" is a melodic techno meditation on 
quiet rebellion. Not the loud kind. The kind where you close 
the laptop, walk to the edge, open your arms — and let the 
wind decide.

The track moves through melancholy and liberation in equal 
measure: a whispered intro that feels like the last moment 
of hesitation, a driving drop that sounds like the first 
second of flight, a naked break that holds the weight of 
everything left behind, and a final outro that lands in 
peace — not in triumph, but in the quiet knowledge that 
the wind always had your name.

This is music for the moment just 

before you jump.

My Light

The first version was possibly written by convict Francis MacNamara, circa 1836, probably when he heard about Moreton Bay from a fellow con, because MacNamara is not recorded as serving any time there himself.  I have made a few edits of the traditional lyrics to expand the narrator storyline, and adding the whole last verse as an epilogue.  Lyrics input at AiMusicGen.ai - to generate demo tunes.   File downloaded for post-production mixing and mastering on Logic Pro.

The original verses indicate the author was male, and had no local knowlege of the settlement from it's founding in 1824 to 1832, when MacNamara arrived in the Colony.  It is extremely unlikely that ANY settlers there lay about on the riverbanks, but large groups of first nations TURRBAL people were about.  All settler women there would have been convicts, or the wives of convicts: 1828 NSW Census = 18 women.

An anthem of radical self-acceptance. This song marks the end of a long search—the search for a mirror that finally reflects enough, for hands outside your own to hold the keys to your worth. It is the sound of realizing, with quiet and then thunderous certainty, that your wholeness was never up for negotiation.

🎙️ Dans ce nouvel épisode de “C’est le Chemin qui Compte”, je reçois Céline Perron, éducatrice spécialisée, psychopraticienne et cadre de rééducation pédiatrique. Mais avant tout, une femme qui a transformé un parcours chaotique en une véritable trajectoire de sens et d’alignement.


Née dans un petit village de l’Isère, Céline grandit dans un environnement modeste où les émotions s’expriment peu. Très tôt, elle se sent différente, en décalage avec l’école et le système. À 16 ans, elle décroche complètement. Pourtant, ce qui aurait pu être une impasse devient le point de départ d’un chemin inattendu, jalonné de rencontres déterminantes, de prises de conscience et de transformations profondes.


Dans cet échange profondément humain, Céline raconte comment la rencontre avec des personnes en situation de handicap a été une révélation : un espace de relations authentiques, sans masque social, où elle a enfin trouvé sa place. Une expérience fondatrice qui orientera toute sa vie professionnelle et personnelle.


Elle partage aussi les moments clés qui ont changé sa trajectoire : une maternité inattendue devenue un moteur de
transformation, le choix conscient de ne plus subir sa vie mais de la choisir, et un travail intérieur profond à travers la thérapie, l’introspection et la méditation.
Au fil de la conversation, Céline nous rappelle une chose essentielle : notre singularité n’est pas un défaut à corriger, mais souvent la clé de notre contribution au monde. Et que même les parcours les plus atypiques peuvent devenir des sources d’inspiration pour les autres.

Pauli explored their gender before access to much of the language we have today. They wrote extensively about their life, their family's history, spiritual and political poetry, and of course, the legal theories that continue to shape our group and collective liberation more than 40 years after their passing.
