The brand new show of Russian psytrance master Fungus Funk is coming to get you this Thursday 17th July, 8pm CET as next installment of our Psylife Series on the Trance channel. In The Dark #3, the nightpsy frenzy is here!
Fungus Funk aka Sergey Prilepa, the legendary Russian psytrance artist began writing psychedelic tunes right before the Millenium and started to release the first Fungus Funk tracks in 2001 on record labels like Acidance Records, Discovalley or Crystal Matrix and many others. His famous debut album called "F People" came out on Acidance in 2006 overflowing with groovy baselines, aggressive synths, warm melodies and those signature psychedelic atmospheres you can still experience on every Fungus Funk release ever since, be it an own composition or a remix made for a fellow musician. The second full-length Fungus Funk album found his home at half Russian, half Australian label Blitz Music, where Sergey released his third and last album to date as well in 2010 called "Electric Grooves". The original Fungus Funk sound always keeps a masterful balance of complex textures and arrangements that lead the listener through a deep and interesting journey of that hazy period of time between the psychedelic night and morning. These days Fungus Funk is busy working on the material of his forthcoming new studio album and interesting side-projects such as releasing under the name Astroff or collaborating with fellow psytrance musicians like Para Halu.

Dj Tsubi, one of the latest members of the continuously growing BMSS Records family, has been an active participant of the Psy Trance scene since 2000. In the last 15 years, he has become one of the most-featured Djs of the Hungarian scene while traveling Europe and playing at underground events as well as some of the largest festivals. In the past few years, he has played a major part in organizing a series of successful parties, and in addition to performing, it is his second year as the music editor of radiOzora. This is a result of his very characteristic musical diversity, his eclectic style and his unique soundscapes which he remains true to, while keeping track of the actual trends.

Listening to his first compilation and the various tales it unfolds, we can take a glimpse into the alternate realities of his musical multiverse.

Treetrolla records proudly presents its 5th release - "Umcherrel II -The Backwoods Baize". This time we are knocking at your doors of perception with new VA to follow some bazie from the backwoods. Here is a new potion with a bunch of trippy stories, which for ages were the ancient free matter flying around the small hats beyond the pine-trees high in the mountain-forest, and now, finally, thanks to magicians in their studio, it was turn into the hypnotic sound waves. These days we decided to turn back to the night source, and follow the Umcherrel tale with a new compilation consisting of 10+1 tracks which transmit new vision of psychedeilc field that is full of shamanic mysteries from the forest depth. The backwoods baize is calling us to the forest like mother's voice whispering lullaby to a child, to a state of between a dream and a reality. As you can suppose, you will see here some shadowy abstract forest psychedelic trance music with trippy atmosphere, experimental touch and slight of twisted sunset vibe, where each composition is a unique world with its own breath, rules and legend. Parandroid aka Samuel Zimmermann is a multi-disciplinary artist and musician from Germany. The project is one of the few Hitech Trance projects worldwide that played on most triple-a commercial festivals in Psytrance such as Noise Poison Festival, Universo Paralello, Atman Festival, Indian Spirit, Paradise Festival. Through his decade-spanning career, he has visited more than 30 countries on all five continents. He was released and was signed in multiple labels as for example Black Out Records, Kamino Records, Noise Poison Records, and was featured on an expansive list of VAs. He also managed the Record label “Noise Poison Records”  and is the founder of the Online Music Learning Service INSTINCT LEARNING.
