Discoveries, a continuously mixed album, making a very specific, very special, typical Mesmer sounding musical journey, compiling tracks written, layered, and produced by the man himself, over the last decade or so.
It involves tracks that have never been released before, and which Mesmer has included in his sets, when playing out gigs and festivals.
Others may have been released previously, in one form or another, and have now finally gotten to the final version, having been re- edited and brought up to date.

Golan Zocher's career started at a very young age. After a short time he already had the pleasure to have a weekly spot on the only electronic radio station that existed between 1999 and 2001. At the age of 20, when he began his studies in Audio Engineering at Sae College (Sydney, Australia), Golan was diagnosed with severe Tinnitus which required him to take a long pause from music. After many years of being away from djing, Golan realized his life didn’t have a meaning without music so he reintroduced himself back to the music scene with a different perspective on how to manage things with his tinnitus. Now after many years of djing all around Israel and releasing his own tracks on several well-known labels, there are many great things that are doing their ways to the Israeli-Colombian dj and producer.

Episode 4 of BCB was definitely inspired by Joe's set he played the week I guest mixed. That set has been one of my favorites of 2022.  My set is a bit of a  throw back sound to a much earlier two-part series I did in the early 2000's called "BreakTrancing." Some of my DC friends may remember those tapes.  Getting breaks remixes was a bit of rarity back then and I was one of the few playing those remixes. I made a mix  of tracks that  straddled breaks and trance that was popular at that time.

My latest Black Coffee Breaks mix, now up to Episdoe 5. A fresh serving of 90's inspired breakbeats, groove laden melodies with a bit of a melancholy tone that works so well in dance music. Maybe it's all the minor keys. 

All tracks are from the summer months of 2023, but it's amazing to me how much of a 90's revival is happening in the breaks scene these days. Recycled drums loops, pianos galore, but the bpms  have come down a bit.

Hi everyone, it feels like it’s been a while since I last posted any music. I had some nice time away on holiday. Fortunately I’m now feeling all refreshed, it’s time to get back into the music. So today, I thought I would drop Gatecrasher Experiences episode 11. In this one I have invited back Rob Kellaghan, this time to change things up, he will be taking on the Early mix, as opposed to his previous late mix, which went down very well. His mix starts with Deep, Proggy sounds which build up gradually and methodically into more uplifting territories which provides a great warm up to pass onto my Late mix, which gets into the more driving and uplifting sounds of crasher, as usual with a few rare hidden gems aswell as being well balanced with some of the more popular classics. Hi friends - I’m kicking off a new dj set series that allows me to release music in my two favorite genres of deep house and breakbeats. Over the coming months I hope to release at least one new set on a semi-regular basis. 

Inspiration for the music comes mornings, black coffee, my favorite DJs, good grooves, 90 breaks and much more. 

Some of you may know me more for progressive breaks that I’ve played for years and still love. While you’ll certainly hear that type of sound in the breaks set, I’ve gravitated towards breaks that were slightly more acoustic, heavily influenced by classic nineties vibes with some modern melodies.  This set is good for chilling listening or club dancing. 

I have borrowed a few tracks that I’ve heard in other recent sets from some of my favorite DJs, but hopefully found my own unique take on them by placing them in the mix in my own way. While not focused on the hottest latest tracks that are mere minutes old, I hope you'll still be hearing some tunes that maybe you're hearing for the first time.

Black Coffee Breaks - Episode 3

Established in 2009 as a trio of breakbeat DJs/Producers who were friends and ravers. When founding member George “Rican” passed away in 2021, Andrew decided to honor his best friend by continuing to play events and music streams as Paranoid Androidz. The legacy project evolved into an amazing opportunity to build a vibrant Twitch community and to spin alongside influential DJs like Darude, The Crystal Method, DJ Icey, and Keith MacKenzie. The vibe is funky, groovy, uplifting, sometimes ethereal.
