"Paint Them Silver” is the second EP by Glasgow band Pareto. After a storming 2010 that saw them headline Glasgow's King Tuts and share stages with bands such as General Fiasco, Nine black Alps and Flood of Red amongst others, the band return with another member and a brand new EP.

Guitarist David Aird (formerly of Sucioperro) has joined the ranks and having spent the second half of 2010 tucked away in their archway studio under the city, coming up for air only to support some of their favourite bands, Pareto are ready to unveil their follow up to 2010's "Your Heart is Ready for Home."

Always keen to evolve, "Paint Them Silver" sees the band moving in a slightly new direction with a more considered approach to songwriting based on layer upon layer of delayed and driven guitars whilst still keeping the hook infested melodies that were at the heart of previous releases.

"Paint Them Silver" was recorded and produced with Iain Cook (Aereogramme / The Unwinding Hours) at Chem 19 Studios which has seen scottish greats such as Mogwai, Idlewild and The Delgados pass through its doors.

The EP features 5 brand new tracks, released on the 18th of April 2011 along with videos to accompany the tracks “Paint Them Silver" and "Collapse" alongside downloadable limited edition artwork designed by the band.
