Purple Kloud, born Rayvon Rollins in 1989 during Hurricane Hugo, caught the music bug from his first performance at the age of 5 in Lake City, Florida. Influenced by his sister and inspired by Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), his passion for music led him to graduate with a Bachelor's in Music Business from Full Sail University in 2012. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists like Niko Is and Tzarizm and nurtured local music scene as an event host.

With influences ranging from Wu-Tang and Outkast to Erykah Badu and Nirvana, Purple Kloud expresses himself through rap, singing, and guitar. His unique approach to songwriting is like crafting poems, each with its own emotional spectrum. Purple Kloud also enjoys creating soulful music and crafting beats, sometimes even live on stage.

A student of the art of music, Purple Kloud infuses his songs with knowledge, drawing inspiration from comedy legends like Martin Lawrence, Dave Chappelle, and Eddie Griffin for his stage presence. His music is a safe haven of sounds, symbolized by his name, a homage to the Purple Cloud temple of the Wu-Tang monks. He makes music to inspire and uplift, inviting listeners of all ages into his world of vibrant storytelling and deep truth.
