An active member of the band Fant4stik with Guigoo, Billx and Floxytek, Mat Weasel has been for years one of the leaders of the Hardtek scene. With a unique ability to seamlessly mix between powerful tracks and 90’s pop punk rave bootlegs, he is proving to be an essential and significant link between the different hard beats scenes: Hardtek, Frenchcore, UK Hardcore and Happy Hardcore.
Mat’s first releases in the late 90’s were like an electroshock on the Hardtekno scene of this time, his Happy Hardcore and Makina influences contrasted so much with the hypnotic and spiritual sounds from other producers. He was the first to release Hardtek at 200bpm, the first to use “kick-bass” based tracks (a bass shot offbeat between two kicks) and tricky cuts every 4 bars. His first vinyl release directly launched him to the top of scene, alongside other artists of his generation: Guigoo, Kefran, Vinka, Gotek, MSD…

Mat Weasel has played an impressive range of venues, from the biggest festivals like Monegros, Dreambeach, Masters of Hardcore, Ground Zero and many more to the best clubs like Pacha, Magazzini Generali, Le Bikini… And he has rocked parties all around the world, from China, Japan, Venezuela and Russia, as well as nearly every single European country!

Ein Pioneer-Techno-Künstlername, den man zweifellos in den letzten Jahrzehnten mitbekommen haben muss, wenn man seine Ohren den Techno-Wellen hingegeben hat. Als eines der einflussreichsten und aufstrebendsten Talente, lokal in Berlin und auch international hat er eine tadellose Reihe von Auftritten, die bis zu seinem frühen Karrierestart im Jahr 1993 zurückreichen.

Er begann seine Reise mit elektronischer Musik schon in jungen Jahren, als er die Kunst des Djing an der legendären maltesischen DJ-Schule Genetix erlernte. Geboren 1982, wuchs er in Cospicua in harten Zeiten des Wandels in Malta auf, als die elektronische Musik noch etwas Neues war und die katholische Kirche die Vielfalt unterdrückte, dennoch schaffte er es, sich selbst zu fördern, zu verbreiten und zu dem erstaunlichen Künstler zu entwickeln, der er heute ist, aber auch die maltesische Musikszene.

Die Jahre vergingen, die ihn zu einem der besten Techno-DJs und -Produzenten Südeuropas reifen ließen, der in den renommiertesten Techno-Locations in Tiflis, Berlin, Florenz, Polen und Italien auftrat, und Malta repräsentiert nichts anderes als den zeitlosen Künstler, der mit der Zeit nie aufhörte, seine Musik und sich selbst weiterzuentwickeln um zu wachsen und weitere zukünftige Klassiker zu halten. Neben seinem frisch eröffneten Plattenlabel Vitamin Recordings.

Neue Unternehmungen, ein langer Lebenslauf mit ikonischen Auftritten, die gleichermaßen begeistert und inspiriert haben, haben ihn zu einer der erkennbar authentischsten Persönlichkeiten insbesondere im Berliner Künstlerkreis gemacht.

Früher war er drei Jahrzehnte lang als BIØNIC bekannt, jetzt hat er sich auf seine neueste Entdeckungsreise begeben, eine Umbenennung seines Namens, die seiner Meinung nach mehr ihn selbst widerspiegelt.

Hadrian wurde in diesem Jahr geboren und hat sich nun mehr auf das Produzieren und die Welt des Sounddesigns konzentriert. Der Produktions-Maestro hat kürzlich die Veröffentlichung seiner ersten Platte auf seinem neuen Label Vitamin Recordings zusammen mit seinen beiden dazugehörigen Alben, nämlich I eat Techno for Breakfast und Alles oder Nicht

A Pioneer Techno artist name, that by no doubt certainly one must have noted over the past decades if you've have endulged your ears to the Techno waves. Standing as one of the most influential and upcoming talents, locally in Berlin and also internationaly
he holds an impeccable pack of performances that date back to his early career start in the 1993.

New endeavours, secured a lengthy resume of iconic performances which have thrilled and inspired in equal measure, placed him to become, of the most discernibly authentic personalities particularly within  the Berlin`s artists  circuit.

Formerly known as BIØNIC for three decades now he has Embarked on his newest exploration, a rebrand of his name which in his opinion reflects more himself.
Hadrian was born this year and he has set now more focus on producing and the world of sound design, the production maestro recently announced the launch of his first release on his newly label Vitamin Recordings
along with his two correlative albums namely,I eat Techno for Breakfast and Alles oder Nicht  

His new sound challenges audiences to redefine their listening habits. His corresponding album series gives a
new perspective and insight into his sound palette as a DJ, and a producer influenced from the early Techno sounds of the nineties an ethos into an immersive  experience that highlights the  beauty of
the ever evolving club culture.

Alex Downey has been supporting the UK electronic underground movement as a DJ, record-shop manager and now radio presenter for nearly 20 years. Based in Brighton on the south coast of England, he is arguably the city's most prominent purveyor of all things Techno, where he is a regular fixture at the premier high profile events, alongside acts such as Underground Resistance and Derrick May.  
As the main driving force behind the counter at Brighton's highly respected and much-missed [covert] record store & web-site, he was instrumental in bringing quality Techno & House to the city - and beyond, developing along the way a boundless knowledge, vast record collection and infectious passion for the music that's unmatched by most. 
His musical taste & experience speaks for itself and his nocturnal activities behind the decks have earned him much respect and a great reputation amongst the global electronic community. He has been invited to perform at many key events such as ‘Free-rotation’ in Wales,'The Big Beat Boutique' & 'Stompa-phunk' in Brighton, 'Retro_vert' & 'Wiggle' in London, ‘Labyrinth’ festival & ‘Haus-Tek’ in Tokyo, and at many other far-flung destinations, hundreds of smaller parties and long-forgotten club nights that rocked hard, and kept the lifeblood of the scene pumping. He is currently resident DJ at 'Our Friends Electric' in Brighton as well as the 'Split' / 'B A L A N C E' parties in London where he has recently shared the stage with Red-shape, Dave Clarke, Robert Hood, Luke Slater and Carl Craig, to name a few. You can also hear him spin on the ‘Split Show’ - a globally syndicated online radio show with a large number of keen listeners worldwide that he co-presents alongside techno legend Ben Sims.
Alex’s energetic style and enthusiasm for all things deep & electronic are sure to bring some magic to the party and are matched only by his razor-sharp DJ skills. One of the UK’s treasures, solidly and confidently attending to business while other media-hyped storms have come and gone.
