Internal Selection 042: Andrey Pushkarev

Andrea Salvaggio è uno dei DJ più promettenti della scena underground italiana. Classe 1996, nato e cresciuto a Milano, si innamora fin da giovanissimo del vinile come mezzo di espressione musicale ed inizia a collezionare dischi.

Nell’arco del suo percorso artistico ha modo di sperimentare con più generi e ciascuno di essi trova oggi una dimensione all’interno dei suoi set. Le sue selezioni mescolano abilmente sonorità electro, minimal, house e breaks (ma non solo) ed hanno attirato molto presto l’attenzione di tanti. Non a caso ha già avuto modo di esibirsi nelle migliori realtà della scena italiana (Bonfim, Magik Bar e Vncbrg, per citarne alcune) ed oggi è DJ resident per il party milanese fvtvristica.

Per questa edizione di Internal Selection Andrea ci propone un set che racconta molto bene tutte le sfaccettature del suo stile. Una selezione che si muove tra i vari generi che lo contraddistinguono e che vuole essere un piccolo teaser per chi non lo avesse ancora sentito dal vivo.

The description of an artist is difficult and to put into words what the music says is almost impossible. 

Everyone perceives music differently, tastes are different, but the only constant is the feeling that we associate with certain sounds, chords, and melodies.

Life is a steady up and down and you can hear that without exception in the sets of Swaso. Joy, sadness, fear, love & anger are but a few of the overwhelming feelings that life holds for each of us and these are reflected in the musical works of Swaso.

Producer & DJ Swaso chose Hamburg as his home and thus found his absolute favorite city. He had always fallen into the Hanseatic city and in 2009 he made his dream and moved to Hamburg with some belongings. The best decision of his life! Swaso has been a resident DJ at Club "Turtur" in Hamburg (@turtur21107) since 2019.

He has always been devoted to music and has proven his musical talent at a young age. His career as a producer & DJ started in early 2019 and with his first official track "filled out" Swaso lays a solid foundation for everything that follows!

His music is played by artists like Nick Warren, Oliver koletzki, Sabo & more … his tracks are played in many place around the world like Burning Man, Ozora, Fusion festival, L’Eclispe festival, Ibiza, Kater Bau, Phangan…

This is a recorded set for the great underground place Guy’s Bar in Koh Phangan, Thaïland, where he played this winter. 

Next releases are coming soon on label from Montréal Cosmovision records, and  many other like Down records from Vienna and Harabe from Istanbul.
