Oliver Ho’s post-rock/synth noise project Slow White Fall, established itself with 2 bleak and ritualistic records for Downwards, the legendary home of alternative electronics run by Regis aka Karl O’Connor. 
Now Oliver brings us Flesh In The Modern Age - the 14 track album sits somewhere between death metal, ambient, noise and post-rock. 
Ideas of landscape, mythology and the occult form the inspiration for the music. Coming on Oliver’s own Death & Leisure imprint, the album comes on limited edition cd accompanied by a book of photo collages with absurd and surreal gothic poetry created by Oliver Ho, which is also performed as spoken word on the album by vocal artist Blood Powers.

From the guitar drones and booming funeral march drums of The Godless Earth, to the heavy electronic strobing kick drums of Slowly We Rot, the album moves into the ambient synth scapes of Opium Song featuring haunting spoken word. There’s the avant distorted noise pieces of Scum Will Rise and Secret Demon that push further into the dark waters, moving into the pure drone and feedback of Hell Bastard, and lastly the album ends with The Death God Cometh, a layered distorted ambient doom metal piece that brings the journey to its crushing destination.

Hailing from Thessaloniki, Greece, Alpha Sect is a project of George McCall, which is focused on breaking electro patterns and pumping body music with serious punk influences. He started his music career as a guitarist in the post-metal band Sleepstream with 2 albums on their track record and he is an active musician with participations in physical theatre performances with his side-project. With already 4 EP releases on prominent labels such as OSM Tapes, Kein Rauch Ohne Feuer, Pildoras Tapes & Forkha, Alpha Sect strikes back with a vinyl release on SOIL RECORDS end of November '21 and has also signed two more vinyls on two major Spanish labels that are to be released in 2022. Ex.Hale is a brand new project born in 2021 with releases on brokntoys, Sonic Groove, Voidance Berlin, Diffuse Reality, Rudiment and mixes on Mutant Radio, Abaddon and Sonidos Subterraneos. Her mix for Abaddon together with some of his tracks has been picked as monthly fav by XLR8R. He started play as Ex.Hale back in December in Barcelona (The Garage Of The Bass Valley) and then get booked in Bruxelles (Cafè Central), Verona (Brutal Forms), Berlin (Suicide Club, Tresor) and Leipzig (Um Laum).
His mix of experimental, techno, jungle and dub caught the ears of some of the most respected labels like brokntoys and Sonic Groove that offered to release his music.
