Roman Parkhomenko (Russia, 1993) is a composer. Since 2020 - co-founder and coordinator of the reMusik.org - OpenCalls (St. Petersburg).
His music has been performed in cities of Russia, Italy, Austria, Greece, Switzerland, Cyprus, USA, Israel, Lithuania and Spain at such international festivals as Mixtur, St. Petersburg International New Music Festival reMusik.org, CEME 2020, Biomechanics, Felicja Blumental, Europe-Asia, etc. Among the performers of his music: Divertimento Ensemble, Meitar Ensemble, Ensemble SEV, MotoContrario Ensemble, Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, Studio for New Music, ensemble “Russia”, GAMEnsemble, Novosibirsk Youth Orchestra, etc.
He is the winner of 12 international composer competitions, including Novalis (Croatia, 2022) and the grand prix of the Open Space (Russia, 2020).
Roman Parkhomenko is a composer of the electroacoustic art & science opera DIVE (New Opera Moscow Theater, 2021).
