Every now and then he'd nod or raise his hand to wave as regular faces passed by the cafe; nothing much changed around here but these fleeting interactions kept him going.

Brazil's ODDiscos co-founder Davis makes his return to Live At Robert Johnson with a new six-tracker titled Dance Peralta. The EP marks his third release for the label, an offshoot of the Offenbach-based night club, and sees the São Paulo-based producer dust off his TR-808, Juno and MS-20 for six tracks that match jovial synth riffs, rumbling bass lines and chunky drumwork.

Daniel Bortz has way more to tell than he has time to produce tracks – acting cautiosly and farsighted on the one hand, being loyal and worldy-wise on the other and in-between balancing himself out and laying a focus on something that could catch his attention in the first place. For his new album Stay, which will be out on Benjamin Fröhlich's and Tom Bioly's Permanent Vacation, the Augsburg-based artist emphasized on the emotional side of music from his teenage years, namely the 90's. Producing and putting together eleven tracks that are as diverse as Daniel is himself, Stay contains and plays with several (musical) influences from what the artist describes as a defining period of his life, as a person and as an artist. In his interview with Torture the Artist Bortz goes deep on this chapter of his life, his musical and technical approach to the album, perfumes and about not fitting in.

Daniel Bortz's album Stay will be released on Permanent Vacation on October 16th, 2020.

Panthera Krause's latest and divinely titled album "It's a Business Doing Pleasure With You" is now a year old, but nonetheless still blissfully resonating. It is Mr. Krause's most accomplished and versatile work yet. So versatile actually, you'd have to be hella versatile yourself to remix that material. But the Riotvan headquarter still managed to gather a bunch of people with good prospects to live up to the job. And so they did. 
Find here an utmost pleasure providing remix package courtesy of: Rebolledo directing the arpeggio bliss of "Road To Arcadia" into even more club apt territories. Theo Kottis turning everybody's favorite "Birthday Club" into a more detailed and pad-saturated affair. Shubostar speeding up the rather downbeat Franko-Funk of "J'ai Envie De Toi" to a bassline-driven groove monster. Fango taking in all the atmospheric quirkiness of "Redo Rdid" and processing it into an odd, yet charming floor-heater. And finally Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht finding a deeper and more bass dominated interpretation of "Sledge Hammer".
