Mikey Riot is a singer/songwriter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.    Best known as the front man for high-energy rockers "Code Whiskey" and the 90's melodic metal cult classic, "Frozen Rose", his vocal style has amazed thousands of people across the world.

Currently working on an album to be released in 2013, Mikey also lends himself to additional projects as time and energy allows. Nobody understands momentum quite like The Crowning. After storming the scene in the Fall of 2017 with their debut EP, the Pennsylvania quartet has already begun to establish themselves as a regional powerhouse with their unique take on the altrock/grunge sound. In a very short period they have amassed thousands of streams, opened up for several major national touring acts, received continuous airplay on hundreds of indie and college radio stations, and have been featured in several major publications including the cover of The Aquarian Weekly.

Hosted out of Pittsburgh, PA, Tapestry began in July of 2018, as, quite simply, a passion project of mine. I would consider myself a music geek in all senses of the word and wanted to have a platform for me to discuss music with other so-called music geeks. 

Bringing my knowledge of progressive rock and metal, alongside other genres, and my love of conversation to the table, Tapestry is a podcast where I dig to get the answers about why music drives us to create. In each conversation I explore music, the thread that weaves between us all - an intricate fabric of the human experience.
