Good morning / afternoon / evening to everyone who may be reading!

Some music from the world of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon had moved me and heavily inspired me to take a direction of creating music for the heart.
During this journey, a lot of things had changed me especially for the past years, but I decided that I'm now only just beginning.

Here's eight minutes, mostly 15 second clips, of what I've been working on so far. They may not be the best work in progresses, half of these are either only say ten percent complete and the other half being around a year outdated.
But I hope these ideas may still appeal to you, and convince you what I've been trying to do with the Partways project!

writing this song was really hard in Ableton because sforzando kept glitching, but Viravax was super nice and made it possible. pretty much just a run of the mill uplifting speedy-pop thing I usually do, with all the Roland rompler patches instead of what I normally do. the eponymous shinji is a reference to shinji hosoe because I like him and his megaman and street fighter tracks had a big influence on me.

Roland PMA-5

This tune was sequenced entirely using the Roland PMA5, a 1996 portable device with a built in sound set using a stylus and a touch sensitive LCD screen as the only input. You can record sequences by touching a little keyboard or step-sequence down to 48ppq (pulses per quarter note) including MIDI events like pitch-bend which is how the drum patterns were made.

This version here is solely the main mixdown. The youtube vid up above has a different mix where I added in some of my phone's mic so it has a more open airy sound (like what RATM did with their first album).

M.U.S.H.A. - For the Love Of... (Real Guitar/Bass/Keys cover)

A track from @fluidvolt's album, who debuted on Ubiktune with Reflections of a Dancing Leaf back in 2012. The album was written with soundfonts, based on the sounds of a classic GameBoy Advance game Mother 3.
