Our challenges were:
[Workflow, Hard] Start your track by making one element that will span the entire song, then move to another element which will span the entire song, and repeat until the song is complete (e.g. you must make all the drums for your entire song first before moving to making the bass in any part of the song)

[Creativity, Stupid] Each element must change source/type every 5 seconds at most (e.g. you must change the snare you are using every 5 seconds, if you are using a piano, after 5 seconds you must not use a piano) - this applies to all elements of the track

For the Workflow challenge, we started by making all of the drums, then did all the basses, then all the chords, then all the leads/melodies.

For the Creativity challenge, we found that at our tempo of 148 BPM, 5 seconds is just about 3 bars and an eighth note triplet. Thus, every synth patch, every drum sample, etc. only plays for up to 3 bars and 1/16 triplet, and then is never used again.
