About the location:
Wilhelmstein is an artificial island in lake Steinhuder Meer with an area of 12,500 square meters, located in the Hanover Region, Northern Germany.
The island was created in the 18th century as a fortification by Count William of Schaumburg-Lippe, ruler of this small German state. Since then the island hosts the Festung Wilhelmstein, the Wilhelmstein Fortress.

"Most definitely this was my most challenging Burning Man yet. It was too hot and we know we are the reason why. Luckily I got to play on a cool Friday morning for sunrise, right after my homie Acid Pauli. That was a beautiful 90 minutes surrounded by my friends and my Mayan Warrior family."

"Last year a big dream came true! When I was invited to play at Burning Man on the iconic Mayan Warrior Stage I couldn’t believe it. I was really nervous on the way to the playa but once I started playing and saw all these lovely people dancing and enjoying my music all the weight fell off. It was the most special and magical gig I ever played and I want to thank the whole community and everybody at the Mayan Warrior camp for making this happen. What a crazy weekend, flashed, sleepless, euphoric, nostalgic. Thanks so much for dancing with me, it was a huge honour closing the night on Sunday Morning on the impressive Tanzwüste stage at Fusion and introducing you guys to the daylight ♥️

When I got the offer for the 4:30 playtime I was shaking in the beginning because I expected the night to be super dark and clubby, wondering how my dreamy sound could compete with the powerful sets. A few hours before my gig I started to realize that it's starting to get bright at 4:00 already so I quickly adjusted my set, not finishing with a climax like typical but rather getting dreamy and moody towards the end, leaving some space for daylight feelings :)
