Ghost (noun): an apparition of a dead person which is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image.

A little sweetness, a little chaos, and above all, a lot of freedom. We are very proud to reveal ‘GHOST’, the very first EP by LaCastagne emlaau, our friend and accomplice from the beginning.

Ghost, because, like sound, it is elusive. A discreet presence, but there, a mystical thing that is more guessed than revealed. We believe in ghosts or not—to each their own delusion.

This EP is the very essence of DALF. No plan, just exploration. Between analogue and digital, between the textures of the samples and the raw emotion of a melody played for hours on end. Shouting into a microphone after hammering away at a piano. Keeping the unexpected, embracing the accident, trusting the moment. Here, nothing follows a set path, everything is created through sensations. You no longer know whether you are dancing or thinking.

Welcome to the giant, spontaneous laboratory of LaCastagne.
