Madloch's 3rd Avenue label welcomes Matías Delóngaro back to the label with his debut EP, "Mi Soul". The Argentine producer made his first appearance on the label in 2021 with the "We Are The Future" compilation and has since released several EPs on our Future Avenue sublabel. Since then, he has also released music on labels such as Mi-Sol DEEP, Stellar Fountain, Another Life Music, Nordic Voyage Recordings, Cigarette Music, Dreamers, and many more.

The title track of this EP was remixed by Noble Spirits from Mexico, owners of the Dialtone Records label, who have released music on labels such as Flug Lab, Keyfound, Where The Shadow Ends, Zenebona, and many more. Argentine producer Kalima delivers the second remix for "Mi Soul". He recently released several productions on the label, such as two originals on the "Three Of A Kind EP" and a remix for Mars Monero. Apart from this, he has released his music on labels such as Hoomidas, MNL, Balkan Connection, and many more.

"Windy" is the second original track from Matías, and it received a remix by Aroma (IND), who makes his label debut with this. He has released his music on labels such as Cafe De Anatolia LAB, For Senses Records, Lump Records, and WORDS NOT ENOUGH.

Matías Delóngaro - Windy [3rd Avenue]

A duo with a strong connection to the Proton Music archives, LADS return to the label with another stunning EP. This time with the added talents of Stephan Pokorny, "A Million Faces" sees two original tracks combine with remixes from Mass Digital and Cream. Three original EPs dating back to the September 2017 "Miss Jean" debut, May 2018's "Hagel" and "Stoyote" in June 2020, confirmed the German / South African duo as one of underground dance's most exciting talents. Now returning, "A Million Faces" is a delicate melodic gem that sees a haunting male vocal line play a central role as it delicately sings a romantic verse at the mid-point. Either side, a rolling percussive groove builds supremely with subtle energy as a barely heard loop hints at the vocal to come. Organic instrumentation creates another motif that adds to the sonic collage as a swathe of new sounds, pitched effects and vocal reprise create a memorable and sparkling track. The partner track is once again characterised by a distinctive rolling groove comprised of organic percussion sounds. A stuttered, vocal cut propels "Liberia" to the front of the sonic stage as fizzing pads and a beautifully cadenced chord syncopates in smooth hypnotic fashion. Full of musical variation, "Liberia" waxes and wanes easily as the hypnotic backdrop and swathe of new motifs and effected elements create an innovative an original piece.

With a motto that expounds "music speaks louder than words", Mass Digital is a name that has risen to prominence over a 15-year period and some 700 production credits to his name. From Pacha and Tiger Recordings to Hoomidaas and All Day I Dream, the Serbian artist has carved out a sizeable reputation with his distinctive and finely honed production work. Now making his Proton Music debut, the Mass Digital remix of "A Million Faces" is a tour deforce. Retaining the original's percussive groove and melodic character, an array of new production material is introduced that immaculately complements the work of LADS and Stephan Pokorny, not least through beautiful new piano chords and a strings-fuelled backdrop. Building in energy through its phases, the vocal so central to the original, cuts a recurring theme as piano and strings develop in magnificent fashion.

The final remix sees the return of DJ and producer, Cream. A seasoned performer behinds the decks across his homeland, the Polish artist has spent a decade honing his production skills, at first in collaboration with Deep Fog and latterly in solo guise for the likes of Sprout, Juicebox Music and Strange Town Recordings. A regular on Particles since mid-2014, 2021's "Rubikon" on Proton Music was a notable highlight. Remixes for GMJ & Matter, Trilucid and Andrea Cassino are now followed by a typically energised reworking of "A Million Faces". Infused with a driving bassline pattern, new melodies appear courtesy of a gradually emerging arpeggio. Progressing with dancefloor energy, the ethereal vocal from the original makes an appearance at the mid-point before the fusion of vibrant bass groove, heavy beat and new melodic variations blossom into a progressive house gem.

As Circulation, Paul Davis has found himself at the leading edge of underground dance music for over 25 years. Initially, with former production partner Matt Jackson, Circulation was responsible for a string of high-profile releases for the likes of Bedrock, Selador and Hooj Choons with performances at Fabric (London), Creamfields (Argentina) and Sónar (Barcelona). Now making his Particles debut, "Mistinguette" is an elegantly constructed melodic gem that lilts gently across its near 7-minute timeframe with a clicking / popping top-line and sub-bass groove. Sumptuous pads and liberally scattered effects add to the luxurious canopy of sound before an ethereal vocal line opens up the breakdown to spine-tingling effect. Picking up the rhythmic poise again in the second half combined with melodic charm and vocal phrasing, the track is a magical debut offering.

Jamie Stevens has been a regular contributor to Proton labels over a star-studded career stretching back more than two decades first through work with the ARIA award-winning, Infusion act. Alongside work for Bedrock, microCastle and Meanwhile, 5 remixes for Proton Music have showcased an inimitable Australian talent with reworkings for the likes of Petar Dundov, James Monro and Hrag Mikkel, the latter in December 2023. Now returning to Particles after a May 2020 remix of Sam Hopgood's "Lobster", the Jamie Stevens remix takes "Mistinguette" on a propane-fuelled journey of chunky beats and synth phrasing. A mesmerising motif forms a foundation from the second movement from which a panoply of new phrases, effects, scattered sounds and vocal flourishes evolve into a new interpretation that moves into familiar sounding territory in the second half to share a common theme with Circulation's original.

An artist with a long and successful career both as globally touring DJ, producer and label owner, the UK-born, Brazilian-based James Monro has had a string of hits on both Proton labels. A half-century of releases comes on Proton Music, not least through 3 volumes of the successful "Sanctuary" series, while remixes for Derek Howell, Sapiens & Springa, Roger Martinez and VovaWave sprinkle stardust across the Particles catalogue. Now returning to the label for the first time since 2019, the James Monro remix of "Mistinguette" is a typically powerful and driving number that takes the core melodic themes of the original and transforms them into a club-friendly banger. A chest-thumping kick, ticking hi-hat groove and rousing glissando bassline sequence provide the backdrop, while a swathe of new melodies entwine easily with familiar chord progressions and sweeping pads. The result is another stunning James Monro interpretation.

Episodio 54 - Natural Selection With ALMA (AR)

A new artist to grace the Particles catalogue, Aeikus delivers his brand new "Eros / Juno" EP. Remixes comes from a quartet of new and highly regarded artists.

A new artist to the world of progressive house and melodic techno, Aeikus made his debut on Clubsonica Records with May 2018's "Talk About Stars". Going on to find his work featured on Stellar Fountain, Soundteller and Massive Harmony, Particles is delighted to welcome him to the label. "Eros" is a beautifully sculpted affair that builds relentlessly through pounding beat, ticking off-beat percussion and a single sixteenth note passage. Hitting its mark with machine-gun fire phrases that sit alongside richly layered pitched effects, the 9-minute affair showcases the Brazilian's work. "Juno" is a more subtle affair with its complex groove and strong melodic motifs that add a touch of class and verve to proceedings. A strong bassline adds further depth and texture in a work that continues to build upon the Brazilian artist's growing reputation.

Little introduction is needed as Rick Pier O'Neil once again demonstrates his unique skill and talent. An artist who has worked with a galaxy of stars, O'Neil has become a regular on the Particles and Proton Music roster with a plethora of material and collaborations with the likes of Desaturate. Continuing the driving feel of the original, a heavy rhythmic framework provides the foundation for a running bassline to flourish while rich chord progression and intelligent use of Aeikus' original components creates a new and exciting character to Rick Pier O'Neil's work.

A debutant to the Particles artist roster, Dubai resident, Chihaka, has delivered an intelligent reworking that focuses on GMJ's central melodic motif. Developing with ease in hypnotic fashion, an intricate percussive framework keeps energy high while a glorious pitch-bent bassline makes its presence felt from the mid-point onwards to create a dynamic driving energy in the third movement. The result is a highly impressive debut offering from Chihaka.

Based in Barcelona but originally from Sao Paolo, Pedro Capelossi has seen his reputation gather momentum since a February 2018 debut for Stereo Enchained. An accomplished DJ with performances across his home and adopted cities, Pedro has been a regular on Stellar Fountain, Electronic Tree and BC2. A debut on "Winter Particles 2019" with NOIYSE PROJECT saw "Myth in Manaus" shine as Pedro now provides a moment of magic with a huge bassline that hits like a mule. Before long, the soft refrains of "Catharsis" filter into sonic range juxtaposed in the first half against a sixteenth-note pattern. A dominant kick makes its presence felt like variations on the central themes of the original play throughout in delicate plucked patterns.

The final Brazilian to take his place on the release finds Ge Bruny reworking the "inspiring melodies and strong rhythms" that have characterised over a century of productions credits for such leading imprints as ICONYC, Or Two Strangers and Dear Deer. Making his Particles debut, the Ge Bruny remix immediately excites with its driving dancefloor groove and thumping beat. Melodic elements come courtesy of the "Catharsis" central motif as the Brazilian builds additional and complementary phrasing around it through melodic clave groove that then opens up into glorious new sustained lead phrase at the breakdown. Intermittent vocal cuts add intrigue throughout as the track hits its stride in the third movement in impressive fashion.
