Eclecticism has always been a priority at Art Vibes and we're proud to release ‘Skydiver', the very first album of Max Tenrom. The Toulouse born multi-instrumentalist, producer, and live performer debuts with 6 originals, gathering the whole scope of his influences to create a meaningful electronic tale. Moreover, We are delighted to have amazing remixes from Holed Coin, Mashk and Fractal Architect.

‘Native' unveils its raw beauty progressively. Piano chords set up the scenery, promptly followed by haunting male vocals and roaring bass lines. The atmosphere becomes almost ceremonial at times and one gets caught reminiscing of lost memories, picturing wild places and local rituals.

‘Skydiver' and it's mesmerizing classical guitar! The hopping licks on the guitar strings are melancholic yet hopeful. Soothing for the mind, the piece is also a direct escapade to the sunny villages of Andalucía, incentivizing one to lose himself and dance.

‘The Lake' is a sumptuous piece of Art in which deep basslines collide with synth pads and high pitched vocals. 
A proper way of enjoying this craft would be to drive on large roads surrounded by infinite fields and ocean-blue lakes…

Unique percussive sounds and complex rhythms give a steady ground to ‘Archived', a heartwarming and inspiring piece. Almost orchestral, the production is marked by background strings, choir-like male vocals and distorted synth melodies. Max has achieved a distinct and refined sound design, full of surprises!

‘Substance' opens with mysterious sounds and gentle piano melodies. Tension keeps building up with the standing synth arpeggios. Alleviations are scarce but achieved through atmospheric breaks and occasional jazzy keyboard patterns. While the melodic parts is conveying a certain sorrow, the straightforward beat and throbbing bass are resolutely empowering.

‘Analog Days' share the same vibe as Substance and starts off with an ambient soundscape sprinkled with reversed piano touches. Surprisingly jazzy at times, the track is powerful and hypnotic.

Spanish talent Holed Coin gave ‘Skydiver' a whole new touch. While keeping the original classical guitar sound, he used it and reshaped this piece with groove and elegance. Sparkle this with various syncopated rolling and pitching percussions, a perfect mid-tempo vibe and you get a tune with a sincere charm.

Opening to airy pads and atmospheric noises, Mashk's remix of Archived has a lot of space and has room for introspection. Minimal and dreamy, subtilely ambient, the remix gets one in a hypnotic escapade with eyes wide shut.

Staying true to the original melodies, the enigmatic Fractal Architect from Bristol, has drawn a clubby vision of Analog Days. Lots of textures intertwine during the breaks while the drops are contrasting with a precise and melodic soundscape. What an uplifting and vibrant alternative version!

Mika has an incredibly warm and deep voice. Deep as in tickling the low end of the frequency spectrum; and deep as in touching the deepest thoughts and emotions of the listener. Manuel Meyer has been involved in a remarkable amount of different Electronic projects for a remarkable amount of time already - yet he’s a remarkably humble producer. Both have the same hairdresser; which again is how Berholter came into existence. Together the duo creates the musical counterpart for that mellow feeling of inner warmth that lingers in the chilly air of the big city at the beginning and at the end of a long club night. In the twilight of pop-infused uplift and subtle melancholia Berholter present two irresistibly catchy tunes. To expand their musical momentum in the direction of maximum danceability, there’s also two splendid remixes by Myagi and Dompe.

A new artist to the Particles roster, Dangur builds on a long history of success with his "Midnight Vultures" EP. Remixes come from German and Hungarian stars.

An artist whose continued rise to prominence throughout 2018 and 2019 has seen a life-long passion for music translated onto success on such labels as Klangwelt, Krafted Underground and Friday Lights Music, now make his Particles debut. The title track is an elegantly sculpted affair that bristles with atmospheric textures and sonic soundscapes before a heavy beat and delayed percussive groove add 4/4 familiarity. Breathy vocals and rippling arpeggio add power in the second half as do atmospheric piano and searing legato Moog lead. "Voltage Baby" opens with delicious rolling groove, syncopated bassline and prominent vocal treatment. A rasping open-filtered bass provides power post-breakdown as melodic character takes over in a dark dancefloor destroyer. Co-produced by Mark Finkel the smooth melodic interplay of "Bungee With Zeus", sees shuffling percussive intent combine with subterranean kick and woodblock groove. Rippling keys and shrill lead erupt into the third movement to create a beautifully melodious and understated offering high in technique and craft. A rich bassline underpins "Metal Beard" as open hi-hats and shakers add percussive intent. A rasping Moog lead provides Bodzin-like hypnotic intrigue and textured pads slide across the left-right spectrum with ease.

Renowned producer, Thyladomid, hits the ground running with his Particles debut. Regular on the likes of Doppelgaenger, City Life and Solomun's Diynamic, the German artist responsible for 2018's magnificent "Places" album for Traum, demonstrates his considerable production talent with a haunting and powerful reworking of the title track. Making full use of the vocals present in the original, the Thyladomid remix weaves a glittering array of detuned pads, off-beat percussion and hypnotic blips around a running techno bassline that drives relentlessly forward alongside heavy beat and characteristic production technique.

Hungarian duo, Peter Makto and Gregory S are no strangers to the world of underground dance music with a combined triple century of production credits to their names. Able to point to a catalogue of material that has seen them grace the likes of Go Deeva, Dear Deer and Hoomidaas, their own Truesounds imprint has also been a regular home for their work. 2018's "Purple Rain" EP saw an impressive Proton Music debut, while remixes for Michael A and Hot TuneiK completed the picture. Now featuring on Particles with their No Distance alias, the duo's remix of "Voltage Baby" packs a heavy punch with chest-thumping kick, rumbling sub-bass groove and subtle ticking percussion. Vocals from the original shine through before a shimmering lead-line in the second half picks up and extends on the melodic themes resonant in Dangur's original.

A quartet of original tracks from Dangur plus remixes from Thyladomid and Peter Makto and Gregory S, keep the "Midnight Vultures" firmly at bay.

The 44th Chapter in this story sees the release of JOBE’s My Regrets, featuring the haunting vocals of Haptic and a big Edition from label bosses VVerses.

As ever with JOBE, the EP is a powerful combination of darkness, melody and heft.

Title track My Regrets is true to form, built on a chunky, driving groove that opens into an expansive and euphoric vocal-led peak in which Haptic takes the lead, giving a performance that is typically haunting and emotional. The Dub Edition, meanwhile, offers a useful counterpoint that smooths out the highs of the original.

Up next, the VVerses Lessons Learned Edition is a blissful combination of new wave-influenced broken beat, delayed basslines and dripping acid. Haptic’s vocal, transformed into an impersonal and heavily vocodered robotic presence, holds the track together as it culminates into choppy ravey chords that channel a Balearic feel.

Final track Luma is an ominous afro tech roller, big dusty drums encasing a central arp that ups the ante and is bound to make the dancefloor bounce. Interweaving synths relentlessly build the tension to a crescendo.

JOBE does it again with his My Regrets EP, right in time for the summer months. Here are stories in sound not to be missed on Chapter 24.

Ever since Canadian duo Beije released their debut single on Manual Deep, they've been making regular appearances on the Dutch record company's various labels. Last year they've already appeared on Manual Music with the release of their song 'A Memory' on the 'Explorations' various artists album, but now it's time to shine the full spotlight on them with their solo double A-sider 'Viscera' / 'Sigil'. Two peak time melodic proggy pieces of dancefloor candy that will surely appeal to many.

Argentinian producer Emi Galvan returns on Manual Music and has reworked 'Sigil' into an incredibly infectious peak time progressive house burner. This one has got 'hit record' written all over it with it's relentless drive and big portion of funk. Bombs away!
