2015 has already provided a fertile ground for Deepfunk. With "Silent Whispers" the Maltese star provided a slice of underground dance music that lit up the early part of the year. Already seeing a clutch of remixes on both Particles and BCSA, a third instalment now sees a further trio of interpretations from across Europe.

Irish DJ and producer, Lateral Cut Groove, has provided a set of top-flight credentials that have led him to DJ competition success and an opening slot at "Creamfields Ireland" while production prowess quickly followed suit coupled with the desire to spread his knowledge, teaching music technology from his own studio. Liquid Grooves has been a constant partner in the Lateral Cut Groove portfolio with a score of productions backed by work for Clinique, Baires and Stripped and a clutch of works for Particles has recently been asterisked by the outstanding three-track "Spring Tide" EP.

Taking his considerable skill set to Deepfunk, the Lateral Cut Groove remix of "Shadowy Whispers" is a typically rich, bass driven number that bristles with melodic intrigue and an intelligent reworking of the original's themes. A complex rhythm section adds to whole to create a striking affair.

A twelve-year career that has seen highlights such as a gig at London's Ministry of Sound and supporting Gareth Emery and Sister Bliss, Robin Thurston's DJ career is as impressive as it is globe-trotting. Former gigs in Argentina and Uruguay have added to a global presence as Thurston's production career begins to make strides. Collaborative work with Sweet Cacophony has seen the pair's music signed to BQ Recordings and Liquid Grooves and a debut contribution to the "Summer Particles 2014" compilation is now consolidated with a remix of "Shadowy Whispers".

A pounding beat and striking percussive section lay the foundation for the analogue arpeggio sequence of the original to appear in subtle variation as a host of additional production material and melody provide a haunting new vision of Deepfunk's work.

The final contribution sees Battage take centre stage. A techno DJ from the north of Holland, Battage made a name for himself across the Netherlands with his own unique brand of eclectic sets while a promoter famous for his "Hartslag" nights saw him bring superstars Petar Dundov and Stephan Bodzin to Groningen. A production portfolio that has already seen a quartet of credits including appearances on "Spring" and "Summer Particles 2014", as well as a pair of remixes of Derek Howell and Ferdy, now sees Battage sprinkling his production talent upon Deepfunk.

Taking "Silence of Waves", the Dutchman provides a huge pulsating bass line that is juxtaposed sharply against a thumping kick and metronomic techno percussion. A soft melodic sequence, echoing the original, gradually filters its way to the fore in impressive fashion as the track progresses to rhythmic conclusion.

With a trio of new remixes to the fore, Deepfunk's "Silent Whispers" are very much loud and proud in their new guises.

Dopamine White welcomes PASINDU & Noise Generation to the label with Synthetic, a compelling three-track EP featuring a remix by Sinan Arsan. Emerging from the Sri Lankan and Indian progressive scenes respectively, PASINDU and Noise Generation have been making waves through labels such as AH Digital, Eat My Hat, Freegrant Music, Mango Alley, SLC-6 Music, and Univack. Known for their emotionally resonant and rhythmically rich productions, the duo now brings their sound to Dopamine White with Synthetic—an EP that explores the shadowy edges of progressive house, infused with groove, subtle melody, and introspective textures. The title track Synthetic opens the release with a dark and hypnotic flow. Driven by a brooding low-end and crisp, intricate percussion, the piece builds slowly, unveiling distant melodic phrases and atmospheric flourishes. The mood is intense yet restrained, with moments of brightness piercing through its dusky character—perfect for deeper dancefloor moments or solitary listening. On remix duties, Turkish artist Sinan Arsan delivers a beautifully restrained version of Synthetic, pushing it further into deep, meditative territory. Known for his organic grooves and emotional soundscapes, Sinan adds his signature touch through soft pads, nuanced textures, and a flowing structure that feels both expansive and grounded. Rounding out the EP is Eclipse of Silence, a more groove-oriented take from PASINDU & Noise Generation. Anchored by tight percussion and a steady pulse, the track evolves with subtle melodic cues and shifting rhythmic energy, delivering a hypnotic yet uplifting finale. With Synthetic, PASINDU & Noise Generation deliver a mature and immersive journey into the deeper side of progressive house, while Sinan Arsans remix brings emotional depth and fluid elegance to complete the story.
