'Madraas kick-off 2022 with a sublime new single on Kindisch that comes with remixes from RIGOONI and David Orin.

Riccardo and Marco are Madraas, a pair of house craftsmen at home on connoisseur labels like All Day I Dream and The Soundgarden. They have a melodic, enchanting sound that gets your head amongst the clouds and your feet tapping. Here they offer the seductive 'Where The Shadow Ends,' which has a slinky house rhythm that is invitingly loose. The weighty kick drums are peppered with toms and dreamy synths bring a luxurious and spaced-out feel. It makes for a classy deep house roller.

RIGOONI hails from Brazil and brings with him a rich array of influences. He has released on the iconic Balance Music and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, and now comes through with a richly organic remix. It is more driving than the original, with slick tech drums powering it along under balmy, far-sighted chords that get you in a reverie.

New Yorker David Orin is a foundational figure in his native scene who blends rhythmic percussion and intricate melody. He is part of the All Day I Dream roster and serves up a hypnotic remix here. It is perfectly airy and zoned out, with smooth grooves and sustained chords bringing plenty of warmth and soul.

‘Where The Shadow Ends’ is another perfectly absorbing and musical package of deep house from Kindisch.'

Welcoming new and exciting artists to the Particles roster is one of the label's prime directive. As a new Argentinean artist arrives on the roster with and assured debut, Guhus marches into the Particles catalogue with "Triple Step".

A self-confessed, "audio fanatic, ocean lover and tech geek", Gustavo Tazzoli is a relatively new name to the underground dance fraternity with his Guhus production moniker. Based in the cosmopolitan Buenos Aries capital and taking the dance scene by storm, Tazzoli is a firm fan of the broad electronic music sphere be it progressive, techno or ambient. Thus, for Guhus, the genre is less important than the underlying "deep soul music" that lies within, based upon its healing properties and the childhood nostalgia it creates.

A portfolio of impressive production credits sit proudly next to the Guhus name that has grown steadily since an October 2015 debut for Massive Harmony. Since then Tazzoli has been a regular on the label with standout offerings in the shape of "My Karma" and "When the Doves Cry". Balkan Connection South America, Suffused Music and PHW Elements have continued to champion the Guhus name with the latter responsible for "The Road to Hana / Beachside Ocean" EP in May 2017.

Supported by a host of high-calibre DJs including Nick Warren, Nicholas Van Orton and Simos Tagias, Particles is now delighted to feature Guhus and his creative three-track "Triple Step" EP. The opening track sees "After the Rainbow" traverse a deep, hypnotic path with its intricate percussive groove, pounding kick and subterranean bass pattern. Fuelled by a swathe of hi-hats, a shimmering melody flows effortlessly across the upper frequency spectrum in freeform glory. Pausing at a stripped back breakdown, a gradual build sees textured pads and vocal 'aahhs' come to the fore in a wonderful aural collage.

"Returning Home" revels in sublimely cadenced plucked chords while a wash of atmospheric effects flow across the stereo spectrum. Accompanied by a textured vocals pads and a low-slung groove, the track puts the listener in mind of sun-soaked Ibiza terraces at sunset with its delicious summer vibe and seagull ambient effects.

Already supported by Argentinean icon, Hernan Cattaneo, "The Golden Sines" cuts a somewhat darker figure with its metallic percussion and hypnotic groove. Anchored by a deep kick and cavernous bass groove, the luscious, textured pads that are a central theme within the Guhus sound, continue to reap rich dividends. Pulsating in side-chain symmetry, a glorious freeform melody emerges at the mid-point breakdown in blissful, muted fashion. Merging with driving beat and house rhythm in the third movement to mesmerising effect, Guhus skill and technique is in bountiful supply.

With his "Triple Step" debut on Particles, Guhus is dancing into a very bright future.
