Clubsonica Records opens their summer season by welcoming Hassan Maroofi to the label for his debut EP. Born in Iran but now calling Costa Rica home, Hassan Maroofi first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Buddhabrot's 'Constellations' collection. Immediately recognized for a production style shaped by emotion, movement, and a quiet devotion to the art of sound, Hassan became a rising talent to watch going forward. In finding a cohesive balance between progressive and organic house, the San Jose resident would go on to showcase his music via Musique de Lune, Transensations and Univack, amongst others, across the next four calendar years. Also highly regarded as a DJ, Hassan has been a fixture of Costa Rica's nightlife for well over a decade, performing alongside top international talents such as Guy Gerber, Hernan Cattaneo, Marco Carola and Satoshi Tomiie. With a recent contribution to Sound Avenue's popular ‘Correlation' series, Hassan continues on his creative journey, making his Clubsonica debut with ‘Dreamer | Solar Odyssey', alongside a remix from Cendryma.

The lead selection ‘Dreamer' finds Hassan showcasing the progressive side of his repertoire and taking straight aim at the dancefloor. Its deep drive is anchored by warm kick drums, haunted effects and bright percussive flashes, tastefully building to a wild-eyed intensity of shape-shafting synth mutations which carry energy into the main break. With a poignant spirit, Hassan pulls from his expansive repertoire as the interlude takes shape, infusing a lead theme that is equal parts mysterious and emotive, before an array of deconstructed sonics sparks a memorable dancefloor moment and rousing finale.

The companion piece 'Odyssey' follows and is an apt barometer of where Hassan's progressive headspace is at, as he lets muscular beats lay the foundation for undulating basslines, swing-heavy chord stabs and an array of panning effects which create a darker monochrome. Energies shift and tension rises as the first act takes shape, bringing rhythm and groove to new levels. Infectious toplines create drama and depth leading into the break, further evolving against a spooky backdrop as misty modulation ensues, before getting washed away in a thrilling conclusion that's perfectly dialled for peaktime play.

The release concludes with Cendryma making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Solar Odyssey'. American producer Daniel Sampson aka Cendryma has carved out a less than conventional path on this way to being one of his country's rising talents. From his early beginnings as trance producer under the Tecnosine and Sam Cydan monikers, the Oregon resident eventually grew tired of the genre's constraints. Some downtime during the global pandemic gave Daniel time to pursue other creative avenues, eventually landing on progressive house and his current alias Cendryma, a project which he states ‘truly embodies my evolving sound and creative vision.' Now, just over a year into his journey as Cendryma, Daniel has made measurable strides, compiling well-received projects for Deep Down Music, Pattern, PURRFECTION, UV and his own Cydana Sounds imprint. With 2025 already yielding standout projects for Higher States and roku, Cendryma continues on an upwards trajectory, making his Clubsonica debut with an inspired rendition of ‘Solar Odyssey'. Warm basslines and rebounding rhythms set the course for snatches of flickering synths and panning chord stabs to work their magic. A gorgeous contrast from the talented American, one which is explored further across the break, reprocessed for maximum emotional response, before the thunderous groove re-emerges for an energetic finale.

Dopamine White welcomes PASINDU & Noise Generation to the label with Synthetic, a compelling three-track EP featuring a remix by Sinan Arsan. Emerging from the Sri Lankan and Indian progressive scenes respectively, PASINDU and Noise Generation have been making waves through labels such as AH Digital, Eat My Hat, Freegrant Music, Mango Alley, SLC-6 Music, and Univack. Known for their emotionally resonant and rhythmically rich productions, the duo now brings their sound to Dopamine White with Synthetic—an EP that explores the shadowy edges of progressive house, infused with groove, subtle melody, and introspective textures. The title track Synthetic opens the release with a dark and hypnotic flow. Driven by a brooding low-end and crisp, intricate percussion, the piece builds slowly, unveiling distant melodic phrases and atmospheric flourishes. The mood is intense yet restrained, with moments of brightness piercing through its dusky character—perfect for deeper dancefloor moments or solitary listening. On remix duties, Turkish artist Sinan Arsan delivers a beautifully restrained version of Synthetic, pushing it further into deep, meditative territory. Known for his organic grooves and emotional soundscapes, Sinan adds his signature touch through soft pads, nuanced textures, and a flowing structure that feels both expansive and grounded. With a range of talents at his disposal, Diego Carr, has hit a rich vein of form within the underground dance community through his Hot TuneiK pseudonym, culminating now with the "Erase and Rewind" EP for Particles. Owner of the ever-growing Hookah Records, the Hot TuneiK production portfolio continues to impress with an expanding array of remix and production material for the likes of 76 Recordings, 3rd Avenue and Balkan Connection. 

A trio of remixes have hit the Particles catalogues, two alongside Belgian producer, Madloch, while "Through Other Dimensions", part of the "Spring Particles 2016" compilation, showcased the Mexican's original work. Now returning, "Erase and Rewind" is redolent in solid, chunky groove that rolls effortlessly in percussive cadence and off-beat hi-hats. A perfectly spaced bass pattern adds depth as a series of textured pads and melodies filter into aural view. Reaching a crescendo in a stripped back breakdown, a huge analogue bass riff carries the track into the third movement creating a colossal dance-floor destroyer that is sure to find favour across the globe.

UK based, Imran Khan, is 2016 newcomer to the underground dance music fraternity. Hitting the ground running at a considerable pace, a debut on Clinique Recordings with the three-track "Distance Between Us" EP, brought immediate success in November 2016, while further work for Astrowave, BQ Recordings and Stellar Fountain have continued to showcase Khan's talent, the latter accounting for the best-selling "Winter Sun" in April 2017. Now debuting on Particles, the Imran Khan remix takes "Erase and Rewind" on near ten-minute voyage of discovery. Utilising elements of Hot TuneiK's percussive section, the bass dominance of the original is intelligently reworked in rousing fashion. Accompanied by exquisite placement of the chord progressions so central to the original, the result is the creation of a sublime undulating rework full of poise.

The final remix comes from Colombians Kamilo Sanclemente and Golan Zocher. Sanclemente has leapt to prominence through a prolific and tireless production schedule that came of age after 2013's "Angels EP" for Suite 7 Records. Nearly a double century of production credits now sit proudly next to the Sanclemente name with Majestic Family, Stellar Fountain and Perspectives Digital among them. A 2016 newcomer to underground scene, Golan Zocher, has grown in reputation with a clutch of impressive releases for Crossfade Sounds, Balkan Connection and Forward Music throughout 2017. Understandably, Zocher's standing within the underground house scene continues to thrive. Following on from a remix of Dmitry Molosh for Clubsonica, Kamilo Sanclemente and Golan Zocher now make their debut on particles with a brooding, evolving remix that uses the rolling bass groove of the original and transforms it into a dynamic, hypnotic affair. Rising to an exciting crescendo with a distorted, stuttered and pitch bent riff, the third movement is welcomed in stunning fashion. Combined with Hot TuneiK's chord progressions, the resultant work is an impressive debut.

With Hot TuneiK on dynamic form, accompanied by mature remixes from Imran Khan, Kamilo Sanclemente and Golan Zocher, there is certainly no need to "Erase and Rewind".
