Another is a long line of talented artists from South America, Kamilo Sanclemente is an artist on a rising upward curve. Returning to Particles with new music and a pair of remixes, "Eva" continues his story.

From Cali, southwest of Bogota, Kamilo Sanclemente burst onto the underground scene in late 2013. As prolific as he is innovative, over 150 production credits can be found next to the Colombian's name from early 2016. Moreover, the list of blue chip labels on which Sanclemente's work has appeared includes Juan Pablo Torrez's Clubsonica Records and Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital – November 2017's "El Sol / La Luna" with Golan Zocher for the latter, being a highpoint. "Revelations" saw a three-track debut on Particles in August 2017 while "Eva" took its initial bow as part of the "Winter 2018" compilation. Reprised here, it is complemented by a new track, "Antlia". Redolent in a strong tribal percussion element, a body-shaking groove is accompanied a warm bass motif and lilting vocal phrase that perfectly fits the tribal percussive feel. Building relentlessly, the track explodes post-breakdown into a storming dance-floor gem with coruscating arpeggios and reprised vocal.

A remix of "Eva" comes from UK based Imran Khan who has shot to prominence through original work for Clinique Recordings in the shape of the "Distance Between Us" and "Time" EPs in late 2016. Going on to deliver music for the likes of Stellar Fountain and Astrowave, a remix of Hot TuneiK's "Erase and Rewind" marked an impressive Particles debut while the original track, "Arrival", appeared on the "Winter 2018" compilation in January. Now returning to the label, Khan's remix is a smooth affair that delights with its lilting groove and deep vibe. A rich bassline permeates the low end with its new progression while a clever reimagining of Sanclemente's elements sees textured pads and white-noise washes scintillate. An arpeggio resonant in the melodic themes of the original then creates intrigue at the mid-point.

Taking on partner track, "Antlia", Nicolas Rada is a name at the forefront of Argentina's underground scene. Influenced by the dark, experimental nature of Radiohead's music, Rada's cutting-edge work for the Balkan Connection label family, Soundteller and DAYS like NIGHTS have seen his influence grow, not least in a collaboration with Nick Warren remixing Eelke Kleijn at the start of 2018. August 2017's three-track "Sheremetyevo" was a Particles high point and remixes of Simos Tagias and Demitros are now followed by a typically impressive reworking of Kamilo Sanclemente. Displaying a sympathetic approach to the original, arpeggios undulate with sumptuous delays and pitched innovation while a new motif and a swathe of additional production material enchant. A strong beat and laid-back groove provide dancefloor credentials, resulting in a mature and intelligent remix that is a symbol of Rada's growing stature.

Remixes from Imran Khan and Nicolas Rada are dynamic and exiting partners to Kamilo Sanclemente and "Eva".

Eva (Imran Khan Remix)

An artist with sizeable success across his South American home, Juan Deminicis has been at the vanguard of the underground dance scene for a decade. Proton Music is therefore delighted to welcome him back with "Life on the Moon".

Hailing from the bustling, cosmopolitan Buenos Aries capital, Deminicis sought inspiration from a host of leading names including Nick Warren, James Zabiela and fellow countryman, Hernan Cattaneo. Quickly finding his feet in the clubs of his hometown and across the country, the Argentinean became an established figure with performances at Bahrein, Fruta and Club Nina.

In tandem, a production career has been no less impressive. Over 270 release credits can thus be found against the Juan Deminicis name for a plethora of high-calibre imprints including Click, Lost and Found and Sudbeat. Indeed, the "Babel" EP was a notable highlight for the Cattaneo led imprint in early 2016 as was August 2018's "Umbra" for Dutch label, Click Records.

Supported across the clubs of the world by leading lights that include Guy J, Nick Warren and John Digweed, Deminicis has been a regular on Proton Music with a 2012 debut alongside Pablo Acenso coming in the shape of "Downshifting"; the stunning "Behind the Sun" EP coming a year later. Remixed by Guy Mantzur, Khen and James Monro has kept Juan Deminicis at the cutting edge of underground dance. Returning in March 2018 to remix GMJ's "Push Through", we are privileged to welcome Juan Deminicis back to the label.

The title track is a beautifully crafted affair that evolves effortlessly over its near eight-minute voyage. Strong beat and cavernous bassline, coupled with offbeat shaker pattern, create an epic bouncing groove that lays the perfect foundation for a swathe of analogue melodies to shimmer and sparkle in freeform patterns. Full of dancefloor credentials, delay and reverb create a spacious effect that truly gives rise to "Life on the Moon".

Partner track, "Tao the King" immediately makes its mark with huge bouncing bassline and techno rhythm. Redolent in white-noise effects, a sublime motif filters into sonic range as an analogue lead fills the airwaves with crystal clarity and an updated retro vibe creates a series of textured layers that resonate with Vangelis and a rich sci-fi scoundscape. Hitting its stride in the third movement with detuned arpeggio, the resultant track is a modern sonic masterpiece.

With two new tracks forming a new musical landscape, Juan Deminicis can be rightfully proud of "Life on the Moon".

The latest release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Soulmade to the label for his debut EP. Nahuel Velazquez aka Soulmade hails from Rosario, Argentina. He began his electronic music journey under the alias of Nahuel V where he released on Deepersense Music and Uroborus. Having adopted the Soulmade moniker earlier this year he has compiled an impressive discography, highlighted by releases on Droid9 Limited, BCSA and Just Movement. Now making his first appearance on Dopamine White, Soulmade presents his 'Enigma' EP.

Made up of two tracks it's the deep progressive vibes of the title selection which leads the release off. Smooth and powerful throughout, it carries a lovely blend of hypnotic motifs and evolving atmospheres. Warm, driving and layered with great rhythms, the first act progresses with timely effects and a quirky arp, before stripping down into the main break. Hazy atmospheres set the backdrop for a mind-bending chain of modulation across the centrepiece, building tension before eventually dropping out into the meditative groove for a strong finish.

The companion piece 'Reflections' follows a similar sonic ethos to its predecessor and rounds out the EP quite nicely. Remarkably fluid, its chunky low end is incredibly groovy, moving through rhythmic pulses while atmospheric overlays add depth and mystery. A spoken word vocal highlights the main break with its mystical charm, eventually getting washed away in a wave of noise as a gentle rush sparks a driving finale. It rounds out two nostalgic creations from Soulmade who makes an impressive Dopamine White debut here.
