Following up the excellent 'Rose', -102C label manager The Cobb returns with a new single entitled 'Voda'. Firmly established in the worlds of progressive and organic house, the Russian artist has split time between -102C and Deepwibe Underground since first appearing a year ago. Now ten credits deep into his discography, The Cobb continues to delight his fans and contemporaries while earning support from a broad selection of electronic tastemakers. Sought after talent such as Dmitry Molosh, GMJ and Kamilo Sanclemente have already remixed his work to profound effect. For an artist who began his journey into production with a sound firmly rooted in progressive house, the last year has seen The Cobb evolve with the organic trends which sit so predominately in the electronic music landscape at the moment. Now continuing that trend and what has been a break out year for the fast rising Russian talent, The Cobb returns to -102C with 'Voda', alongside a remix from Dmitry Molosh.

Madloch's 3rd Avenue opens the new year by welcoming Bynomic back to the label for a new single. The Swiss artist is coming off one of his best years to date, with 2022 yielded a bevy of impressive projects for One Of A Kind, Mango Alley, Soundteller and his own Another Life Music imprint. 3rd Avenue has also been a frequent landing spot for Bynomic, beginning in 2019 with his 'Journey to Avalon' single, a project which would set the course for twenty additional appearances across the next three years, none more memorable perhaps than 2022's 'Past Oblivion'. Now, as 2023 begins to take shape, Bynomic makes a welcome return to 3rd Avenue with the much anticipated 'Little Girl', alongside remixes from Berni Turletti, David Podhel and Darren Bray.

An underground dance icon, Pole Folder provided Proton Music with another stunning offering in the shape of "Serengeti". As Particles now revisits the track, the sparkling melodic lines and dynamic rhythms of the original are accompanied by remixes from Russian and UAE based artists.

Hailing from the port city of Novorossiysk on the beautiful Black Sea coast, Izzet has developed a distinctive sound through a select set of production material. A decade has passed since early work found its way onto NewBorn Records but original EPs for Liquid Grooves and Clinique Recordings in 2014 and 2015 saw the Russian artist developing his sound. Moreover, the 2017 "Source Light" EP for Proton Limited in 2017 paved the way for an appearance on Particles a year later with music featured on the "Winter" and "Summer 2018" compilations.

January 2019 saw a full EP debut in the shape of "Summer Goodbye" including reworkings from Bluum and Malbetrieb while remixes of Rafa'EL and Savvas are now joined by a third for the label as Izzet creates a driving rhythmic interpretation of "Serengeti". Adding a rich, rolling percussive groove to proceedings, a hypnotic melodic loop radiates out across the mid-range before new delicate motifs ripple across the sonic landscape at the breakdown with ease. The rhythmic collage once again expands into the third movement combined with subtle melodic flourishes in another impressive offering from the Izzet production stable.

Zimbabwean by birth, Michael Tinashe was a 2019 newcomer to the Particles roster with a remix of Aeikus' "Juno", under his Chihaka production moniker. Making an immediate impression, October 2019's "Nyara" showcased the Dubai based artist's work with three beautifully crafted original tracks alongside remixes from Rayomand and Hot TuneiK. Following up that success, "Pinda" was released in May 2020 with another trio of originals and remixes from Naethan and V-Sag as Chihaka now returns to Particles with another typically innovative production.

Taking Pole Folder's original on a smooth melodic techno voyage of discovery, hypnotic rhythms and delayed claps form the bedrock for a cavernous sub-bass to roll across the low end. Taking the melodic phrasing inherent in "Serengeti", Chihaka presents the motifs in a new light as they sit front and centre, combined with a panned and heavily modulated pad. Building to a dramatic zenith at the five-minute point with rich layers of sound that combine in soundscapes that have their roots in Pole Folder delicate composition, a heavy beat is once again introduced in the final stages to create a club-friendly finish.

Remixes from Izzet and Chihaka have Pole Folder's music once again stretching out across the plains of the "Serengeti".
