MAXIE KÖNIG is a well known, established djane from the south west of germany. In 2020 she released her first own productions. the results had been amazing. as a newcomer artists her first production, a remix for "TIM ENGELHARDT" was released on high profiled "POKER FLAT RECORDINGS". Next was her first EP on also quiet well known "PLASTIC CITY RECORDS". Both releases experienced chart reactions on BEATPORT as well as plays by artists such as JOHN DIGWEED. Kind of the same happened to her 1st EP on "OHRAL RECORDINGS".

This EP now kicks of with a remix of "LET GO" by "BENNY GRAUER" who's beside being a great artists also the head of label and booking agency "STILL HOT BERLIN". His interpretation is a deep, groovy, psychedelic detroit house builder. This one's will for sure put you on a journey. The original instead is more direct, without any detours, on point - this track will "LET YOU GO". "MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT" shows Maxie as she is: a power woman with powerful production skills.

Berlin-based songwriter, producer, vocalist and DJ Jay Medvedeva is next up on Kindisch with a pair of spine-tingling house tracks.

Medvedeva has made her mark on influential European clubs like Fabric, Space and Pacha, toured the US, released on Decay Records in collaboration with Shaun Reeves and put out an EP on trueColors together with Doyeq, on which she also performed as a singer. Currently she is part of a classical-electronic performance at the renowned Berliner Philharmoniker, which is taking place in 2023. She is a versatile artist who shows off her subtle studio craft and unique grasp on multi-layered melody here.

First up is 'Don’t Forget Me,' a brilliantly hypnotic 13-minute epic. The silky and rubbery drums soon enchant as angelic vocal sounds and balmy pads disperse endlessly up top. It's an everevolving track that is full of depth and electronic soul with different melodic leads bringing a whimsical and pensive mood. 'To The Wonder' is another superbly stylish and storytelling track that unfolds like a dream. The pads and vocals are soft, the melodies airy and the bass loopy and meditative. Mysteriously heavy chords bring a note of melancholy as glitchy percussion keeps things moving.

These are two fulsome and hugely atmospheric house tracks from this ever more vital artist.

Recognising talent and giving them the platform to succeed, Particles welcomes Vidno to its family with the three-track, "Waves Are Miracle". Remixes come from US and Mexican artists.

A Polish artist with a rich musical heritage, Vidno has been a mainstay of his country's dance music community. Live performances at the likes of Audioriver, Gamma Festival and World Wide Warsaw supporting Robert Babicz, Damian Lazarus and Jonas Saalbach, has the seen the Plock resident help shape the country's dance scene from the banks of the Vistula River. Production work that saw a 2018 debut for Default Position and subsequent work for Crossfade Sounds and Suprematic in 2020 now finds Vidno starring on Particles. With its organic house vibe, "Cave" opens with atmospheric storm effects before settling into soothing melodic phrases that hypnotise with their subtle chord progressions and off-beat hi-hats. Free-flowing analogue sequences create a rich counterpoint phrasing that evolves easily either side of a stripped back breakdown and intricate bass groove. "Mirage 2000" continues the melodic narrative of its processor with earworm motif gently looped alongside polyrhythmic percussion and straight bassline character. An innovative piece, the track is transformed in the second half with a collage of textures and soundscapes. The melodic techno framework of the title track sees a heavy beat and typical off-beat hi-hat pattern form the basis for a flurry of filtered and modulated soundscapes to develop atop of deep bassline pattern. Subtle melodic phrases then emerge, barely heard over the textured melange and percussive patterns as waves of sound develop.

A regular across the clubs of his San Francisco home and co-founder of the hugely successful, Manjumasi imprint alongside talented countryman, Atish, Mark Slee has been a frequent contributor to Proton Music since 2015. Moreover, his July 2020 "Veranda" EP marked a high watermark with its three original tracks and remixes from MUUI and Juan Deminicis. A pair of remixes for Vitamindevo and Luc Angenehm in 2016 and 2017 marks Slee's appearances on Particles as he now returns with a typically innovative interpretation of "Cave". Taking the central melodic theme of the original, Mark Slee creates a trademark free-flowing melodic interpretation that has become so prominent in his production work. A gloriously deep bassline groove and rolling percussive framework adds dancefloor character as crunchy, distorted textures create further intrigue in his aptly titled "Forgotten Dreams Remix".

Another artist with a strong connection with the Proton family, Hot TuneiK has found himself starring with his "Heightened Senses" series on Proton Music in spring 2020 while a selection of original music on Particles has seen the Mexican artist deliver the "Erase and Rewind" and "Tulum" EPs in 2017 and 2018. Remixes for Roger Martinez, Imran Khan and Matter and Universal Harmonics are now joined by a superb reworking of "Waves Are Miracle" as the rhythmic cadence and subtle melodic touches of the original are joined by an array of additional production material from the Hot TuneiK stable as gated synths form a backdrop for a new hypnotic motif to wend itself enticingly across the 9-minute magnum opus. Building to a rousing crescendo at the mid-point, the track explodes into the second half with a bouncing bassline groove and heavy beat conjoined with musical tropes firmly heard in Vidno's original.
