Artist

Marc de Koning started as a DJ when he was 15 years old. His music style varies from deep and energetic house to underground progressive tech house. With his deep love & appreciation for house music, he began to produce his own music. In 2014 his music career took a turn for the better when Dimitri Kneppers, the pioneer of house music in the Netherlands began to incorporate Marc’s music into his sets.

2014 brought another boost for Marc’s DJ career with Luke Santos, a well-loved & talented DJ from Argentina who now lives in Amsterdam. They had a click and have been producing music together ever since. Their track ‘Numinous’, ranked in Hernan Cattaneo’s Top 20 Chart, and is being played at various festivals & parties, by Hernan Cattaneo, Dimitri, & Olivier Weiter to name a few.

Marc de Koning is also resident DJ at RLGC (Recycle Lounge Gallery Club) in Amsterdam. An he have his own Podcast Heartbeat.

Marc de Koning produced also the lovely track ‘Signature’ at the Label Manual Music, a warm and smooth progressive house mix that’s been said by Progressive Astronaut to have “a touch of James Holden and Luke Chable” in its melodies.

Electronic music lover since 2004.

He was born in a small town of Bursa in 1987.
In 2007 he went to Sofia to study.
Until 2011, the lessons he listened to during the day were entering in one ear and coming out of the other, but at night when listening to the leading names of electronic music, music did not come in from one ear and exit from the other.

Although he had no training in music, he discovered that he did not hear music the way everyone hears it and did not see it the way everyone saw it. He believed that putting pieces together was a good listener and proved that it was more than just believing.

Believing that music has a philosophy above all.
ongunko continues to express himself by bringing together his own favorite melodies from different cultures with Enharmonica series.
One of his biggest dreams about the music is to prepare his set consisting entirely of his own tracks one day, his track trials continue and you will hear it when it is ready.

About 10 years old, he always wanted to hear the "strange sounds" in music. The strange sound was the synths. He started listening to Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Kraftwerk in his young age. The the 80`s came and synths were all over the music.

My interest in electronic music, was given by the influence of dance music, I grew up listening to that genre and when I listened to Progressive house and all its wonderful range of sounds I was hooked, I mixed progressive house and organic house, because they are genres that with the that I can project the way I perceive art, in the sets that I mix I can tell great stories that go from the powerful bass line of progressive to the fantastic deep melodies of the organic, in the sets that I mix I can project how I perceive these genres , the power, harmony and groove of progressive and organic house, for me mixing these styles means projecting a little of my personality, ranging from the deepest to the most melodic.
