Peter Glen: Lunar Progressive #004

For my first show back at Mala Santa (formerly Club Planeta) since before the pandemic, I was given another extended opportunity to curate the night from ground zero. There's always something special about playing that first track to only the staff (+Brandon) before the night eventually gives way to the sold out chaos.

Kicking off the night to those staff members and extra-supportive friends arriving at doors, I started off this set particularly deep, upping the energy until I noticed the Anjuna faithful were packing out the venue particularly early. Right around the hour mark the challenge pivoted from deep-builder to convincing the crowd to migrate from the bars and high tops to the dancefloor. Here's the recording of that journey, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did on the night :)

Starting as a DJ and radio producer at the age of 17, he participated in several DJ contests and winning a lot of them. 
He graduated as a sound technician at the academy in Manresa in Barcelona.

Vain Nofler, Dj, Producer and Remixer, born in Barcelona, began working at 17 years old as
a Disc Jockey announcer on a local radio and since then he began to work as a Disc Jockey
in private parties and in various clubs; He participates in several DJ contests, one in the Top
40, in the “Calambre Techno” program, and another in Gum FM, in the “Tancat a casa”
program, being the winner in both.
He graduated as a Sound Technician at an academy in Manresa (Barcelona).
He is resident as a DJ in various radio stations such as "Fnoob Techno Radio" (London),
"Radio RapTz" (Paris),¨RadioKlub¨ (Francia) and occasionally collaborates with "Meer

From that moment he went down to the darkest sides of techno, balancing between the uplifting melodies of melodic techno and the hypnotic, deeper sounds, making unforgettable encounters and combining different elements to captivate the listener into a deep state of trance.

Ervin ohmar also known as Aunix is creating a sacred space on the dance floor so the dancer can dive deeper, expressing his/her true self throughout music. His music journey started at a very young age, always dancing to music and listening to old classics introduced by his father. Inspired by the production side of electronic dance music while participating in a Calvin Harris music video in 2011 he then began his journey in electronic music.
Then Discovering underground music gatherings in unusual places, he fell in love with its music, art and spirituality, that all was connected. 
Since then he made unforgettable encounters and fed off the sounds of dark techno. Aunix through the years has journeyed from dark techno to uplifting melodic techno, this directed him to where he now curates deep techno sets with many different elements to captivate the listener in a deep state of trance.
Aunix also performs under the alias Ervin Ohmar where his presentations are based on deep progressive house and deep techno.
Aunix Currently co-hosts Techno music events in California under Hypnotica . A collective united through a diversity of underground hypnotic techno music. 
You can find him in the heart of the Los Angeles underground scene residing with Agapnotics & Ayamterrain where he lets music be the mantra.

About 10 years old, he always wanted to hear the "strange sounds" in music. The strange sound was the synths. He started listening to Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Kraftwerk in his young age. The the 80`s came and synths were all over the music.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access. You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
