Another day, it's all she's known, up in her room.
Looking out the window, no friends around,  
she wishes she could just fly.

The yellow tattered bathroom mat,
It felt good between her toes; seemed to matter badly.
She sat on the floor near the tub, 
coolness against her head. 
Sounds seem louder;
vision a bit clearer, yeah.

She ran to her bed, got under the covers,
put on her phones, and left this place...

nowhere to go, outside so cold.
all she has is her vivid imagination,

Go to sleep my little man for its nearly over,
soon you'll have to leave, me.

chasing butterflies way beyond the stars.

The grass grows tall where your'e going and the sun it always shines.
You can stretch out just like supercat, catch some rays and watch the ducks glide on by.
Someday we will be there by your side, till then wait patiently.

Rest in peace my baby boo soon your pain will cease to be
 then work it's way into me.
Pull my flesh apart cut deep inside my heart.

Go be with your brother now, where the sun it always shines.
You can stretch out just like supercats catch some rays and watch the ducks glide on by.
It's safe there no need for you to hide, cause soon I will be there by your side.
Till then wait patiently.
I'll be counting the weeks, months and years, till I see you again.
And hold you in my arms.

Two months ago I fell over, a simple loss of balance and crushed my right wrist - at the same time this virus caused me and most of the world to seclude ourselves - and I couldn't play my piano. My cast and splint are off but there is healing still to do. Finally, this week I sat down to play - painful, but that is life.  In my seclusion I met a woman online in pain from a broken knee and a broken life. She lives in New York. Everyone has their own pain to live with. We are not alone, even when we feel alone.  Everything I record has a reason.  In the music is the emotion of her story. I recorded this music for her.  

It is now time for me to get my life back. My immune system is suppressed. I have rarely left my house since Feb. I teach my students over video chat. The world is different now and we don't know where it is going. That will be the story of my upcoming music.

Sleepless in New York

Elle ne s'étend que sur quelques mètres, du sol à la cime des arbres.
Certains appellent cette pellicule, fine et fragile, la "zone critique". C'est un endroit sensible où se concentre une très grande partie du monde vivant...

Ce morceau a été produit avec le logiciel de MAO LMMS. Il devrait contribuer en 2021 à un spectacle nocturne et en extérieur, fruit d'une belle collaboration entre un collectif d'artiste et des chercheurs en sciences de l'environnement.

Hello .  Thank you for your visit . I'm just a modest amateur.  Trying to do emotional music.  Sometimes personal compositions and I also like doing instrumental arrangements and mixing-mastering for collaborations.  Always with heart.
