This track was recorded, mixed & mastered on a completely different platform than what I've been using so I really had to re-learn a lot of elements. Also, I composed it over a span of three days as opposed to how I usually produce a track in one long session. All together, the process took about 15 hours . The song contains 17 instrument tracks. I used low pass and band pass filters throughout to create the feeling of waves or as the title implies expansion and contraction of sound. I also stepped up the rate of the oscillators in succession to facilitate a feeling of building tension.
