se demandait Mathieu en faisant le tour des murs d’enceinte de l’aéroport...
Il observait, songeant, toutes ces pensées écrites sur les murs par les voyageurs transitant en ces lieux publics…
Tout en marchant, ses yeux et son esprit vagabondaient au gré des proverbes, expressions libres, morales, témoignages, plaisanteries, aveux, ou partages divers écrits, griffonnés, tagués ou simplement esquissés par les passants au fil du temps, des passages répétés et voyages passés.
Entrant dans le hall d’enregistrement, en attendant son avion pour le pays Fantasque, il regardait les gens passer devant lui, curieux, intrigué et pensif...
Les passants tantôt nonchalants, tantôt pressés, circulaient chacun à leur rythme. Parfois perdus, souvent souriants et pleins d’assurance, mais rarement affolés, les voyageurs défilaient autour de lui sans tarir…
A un moment, il vit une figue noire qui avait échappé à un marchand de fruits aux habits amples et chamarrés, rouler sur le sol. Ni une, ni deux, il la ramassa avec envie, ne l’observa qu’un fugace instant avant de la croquer goulûment…
MMmmmhhh…
La vie, c'est comme ce fruit, se dit-il ravi :
Elle est parfois amère, mais souvent sucrée…
Peu après, il entendit des hannetons bourdonner.
Ils s'étaient échappés d'une cage à insectes ballotée par un individu austère, étrange, biscornu, et maladroit, en trébuchant…
Leur essaim s’échappa frénétiquement pour s'éparpiller dans un chaos amusant…
D’abord surpris, il les suivit du regard et admira leur multitude dorée et argentée.
