THE NEW RELEASE FROM LUNATIC SOUL & RIVERSIDE'S CREATIVE GENIUS MARIUSZ DUDA 

‘Walking On A Flashlight Beam’ is the brand new album from Lunatic Soul due to be released through Kscope on 13th October 2014. 

Lunatic Soul is the solo project from Mariusz Duda, the creative force, lead singer and talented multi-instrumentalist behind Poland's Progressive Rock shooting stars Riverside.

‘Walking On A Flashlight Beam’ is the fourth album from Lunatic Soul and follow up to  2011’s acclaimed ‘Impressions’ album and comprises of almost 64 minutes of brand new music.

Commenting on his new opus  Duda says  “These are very dark and intense compositions but very melodious too. I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever written, if not the best one”.

The first single & video due to be taken from the new album will be for the track ‘Cold’.

As with previous Lunatic Soul albums artwork was created by the renowned cover artist Travis Smith who has previous created covers for the likes of Opeth & Riverside.

A 5-track mini-album ‘little brother’ to the splendid Not The Weapon But The Hand, Arc Light features 4 new tracks and a new version of Intergalactic featuring Aziz Ibrahim (Stone Roses, Ian Brown) on guitar.

Not The Weapon But The Hand was the 2012 debut album from the cult hero collaborative. It featured appearances from Danny Thompson on double bass, Chris Maitland (ex Porcupine Tree) on drums and Dave Gregory (XTC) on guitar, bass and string arrangement

Steve Hogarth is best known as the frontman of Marillion, the progressive rock legends that he joined in 1989, following spells in The Europeans and How We Live. In addition to the 12 albums Marillion have released in this time he has also recorded and toured as a solo artist, under the name ‘h’.

In recent years Richard Barbieri has been a core member of Porcupine Tree playing keyboards on all the band’s albums since 1993 as well as releasing two solo albums, Things Buried and Stranger Inside. Prior to this, it was in the new-wave pioneers Japan that he originally came to prominence, helping to create the ground-breaking synthesiser sound that defined the band and influenced the likes of The Human League, Duran Duran, Gary Numan, Talk Talk and a whole raft of artists to follow.

Arc Light will be released on May 12th via Kscope in deluxe digi sleeve packaging with an 8 page booklet featuring beautiful photography from Luigi Colosanti and H lyrics.

Missa Atropos was the 2011 studio album from acclaimed Norwegian Post-Progressive band Gazpacho, and their first for the Kscope label.

The follow-up to 2009's Tick Tock (Album Of The Month - Eclipsed), Missa Atropos is an ambitious concept album. Dealing with themes of death, fear and loneliness, it combines the band's musical skills and haunting songwriting to create a beautiful and hypnotic piece of art.

March Of Ghosts was the band's follow-up to Missa Atropos, which was released on Kscope in 2011 along with the live album, London. London was recorded on the band's European tour and the success of this tour helped provide the genesis for March Of Ghosts, as Jon-Arne explains: 'the previous tour gave us lots of inspiration. So, the week after returning we went straight into the studio to capture whatever came.' This material was then honed, dissected and refined throughout the summer and autumn of 2011 to create a coherent whole. 

While Missa Atropos can be viewed as a concept album, March Of Ghosts is much more as a collection of short tales; 'The idea was to have the lead character spend a night where all these ghosts (dead and alive) would march past him to tell their stories.

Between 2003 and 2010 the band released five albums. All these albums were either self-released or on Marillion’s Racket Records label but in 2010 the band signed to Kscope who gave an international release to the band’s album Missa Atropos in 2011.

Gazpacho was formed in Oslo in 1996 by childhood friends Jon-Arne Vilbo and Thomas Andersen along with Jan-Henrik Ohme (later joined by Mikael Krømer, Robert R Johansen and Kristian Torp). The band have honed their unique sound, and a substantial international fan-base, over a string of critically acclaimed albums and numerous tours, including several with long-time supporters Marillion. 

Gazpacho - Winter Is Never (From London)

Gazpacho were formed in Oslo in 1996 by childhood friends Jon-Arne Vilbo and Thomas Andersen along with Jan-Henrik Ohme (later joined by Mikael Krømer, Lars Erik Asp and Kristian Torp) and released their debut album 'Bravo' in 2003.

Signing to Kscope in 2010, the band released their sixth album 'Missa Atropos' followed by the acclaimed 'March of Ghosts' in 2012 and in 2014 the band released their album ‘Demon’ to worldwide critical acclaim.

‘Night Of The Demon’ was filmed when the band embarked upon the ‘Demon’ album tour in spring 2014. The band were aware that many countries were missing out on the tour and many fans across the world would be unable to attend so they brought in Dutch filmmaker Jon Vis to film their show in April at Boerderij in Zoetmeer in Holland.
