3 QUESTIONS to STAS DRIVE:

Q : You found the bass with these tracks. How did they change your life? 

A : First of all thank you Marc for the opportunity to share with the world my own musical history in your unique series of mixes. Infact it was very difficult to select tracks that will tell my musical education well from the beginning of 90's and in general my musical temperament. This is far from the full palette of electronics with which i grew up and in which was looking for my original sound but anyway it's very special and a condensed story including from: Indie, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Jungle, Dub, IDM and Ambient to Electro, Progressive and Techno which greatly influenced my creative development in 1999, when I first had a chance to play in clubs. This is really a very valuable and nostalgic sounds for me. 

Q : From Ukraine to the world. You´ve seen almost all parts of the planet as a DJ. Would you prefer having your homebase on another place or is leaving Kiev no option for you? 

A : Honestly there are many countries in which I have not played but I hope to fix it in the near future, for example United States or Australia. And I think my homebase is in the best place to start traveling anywhere in the world. But if talk about political instability, then I'm not sure that in the future I will stay here, it's hard to say right now. Time will show. 

Q : How would you describe the rising music scene in the Ukraine? 

A : In Ukraine a rather young music scene and very versatile - it is actively developing and people are really beginning to be interested in electronic music, and I can not say the same about the situation ten years ago. But nevertheless there are many nuances over which still need a lot and work hard to achieve a truly qualitative result.
