Shame

I wanted to create for this piece a romantic atmosphere, where the interpretation translates varied emotions and sound contrasts. The musical notes are above all vibrations that resonate within us. The very first measurements of the concerto No. 2 by Rachmaninov inspired me for the beginning of "Résonance", this composer remains for me one of the greatest masters of musical expression. J'ai voulu créer pour ce morceau une ambiance romantique, où l'interprétation traduit des émotions variées et des contrastes sonores. Les notes de musique sont avant tout des vibrations qui résonnent en nous. Les toutes premières mesures du concerto no. 2 de Rachmaninov m'ont inspiré pour le début de "Résonances", ce compositeur reste pour moi l'un des plus grands maîtres de l'expression musicale. Spring - celebration of the Spring season, new life new beginnings. 

On this track I’m using Arturia, Synth1, OPUS, Ableton Vintage Synths and Isotope Ozone. The objective is to seamlessly blend Synths and Orchestral instruments to create a dreamlike sequence....

I wrote these tracks a while ago, and as time has gone by I’m using new equipment & software. It’s quite a technical piece and I wanted to explore what I could do with it now & with new mastering.

'Three Nibs. ....an "alternative" fusion track and mixed genre. Inspired by my time spent in London as a music copier/transcriber. transcribing the individual parts from a score to the relevant parts for individual musicians. tHis was all done by hand and pen and ink. I used three indivdual pens with different nib sizes. hence the name of the piece, (Three Nibs). Scores could be anything from big bands  to smaller bands and genres varied from score to score. I've attempted to emulate the varied contents of the scores in this piece. Hopefully it makes sense to you when listening.

In the previous version (https://soundcloud.com/michele-ansani/gamma-o) there was excessive sound saturation. I kept only the vocal part (remixed) and redid the piano backing, aiming for a more minimalist result.
