My submission for the March 2023 Sim Selection monthly challenge of Benn Jordan's discord community.

Keywords: thirsty, five
Optional Challenge: Write the hidden bonus track for your favorite album. Dig deep and really think about what 'favorite' means to you.

My direction was to create an electronic track featuring drone, but also elements in the style of loscil. This track was created with my modular system, as well as electric guitar and drone elements from Ableton Live.

Here we are together in the end
In a peaceful awe, in the
 silence, in a colorful bliss

In starlight, under a pale white moon

In a world world drenched in flames

Something I heard reminded me 
Of black phones in the county jail 
Talkin' through the safety glass    
They always had that certain smell

Of skin and sweat
I thought it was the scent of fear
But then, just now, I wondered if it was the tears
That make them smell that way

How could it be that little things
Are worth more than your liberty?
Talking through the safety glass
