Das Omen war in den Jahren 1988 bis 1998 eine der ersten Diskotheken der Techno- und House-Szene. Der Club befand sich in einem mittlerweile abgerissenem Parkhaus in der Junghofstraße in der Innenstadt von Frankfurt am Main.
Der Club gilt als eine der wichtigsten Geburtsstätten des Techno in Deutschland. Das Omen wurde zu seiner Zeit regelmäßig (wie zum Beispiel in der Zeitschrift „Groove“) zum besten Techno-Club in Deutschland gewählt und war, neben dem Dorian Gray im Flughafen Frankfurt, die erste Adresse im Rhein-Main-Gebiet.

Das Omen entstand 1988 aus dem Club Vogue. Unter der Führung des Trios Sven Väth, Michael Münzing und Matthias Martinsohn entwickelte sich der Club in den folgenden zehn Jahren zu einem Zentrum der weltweiten Techno-Szene.

DJ-Größen wie Sven Väth, der auch ein Miteigentümer des Omens war, Carl Cox, Frank Lorber, Toni Rios, Gayle San, DJ Dag, Chris Liebing, Ulli Brenner, Jeff Mills und viele andere spielten im Omen oft bis in den späten Mittag hinein.

Nach dem „Abschiedswochenende“ wurde das Omen am 19. Oktober 1998 geschlossen. Der letzte gespielte Track war „Astral Pilot – The Day after“. Es gab insgesamt drei Closing-Partys: Am Montag, am Mittwoch und dann die Allerletzte von Freitag durchgehend bis Montagmorgen. Der Besucheransturm am Sonntag war so groß, dass die Veranstalter Lautsprecher auf die Straße stellten, wo mehrere hundert Menschen tanzten. Die Polizei griff nicht ein, sondern sperrte die Junghofstraße komplett für den Durchgangsverkehr für mehrere Stunden.

Seit der Schließung (und dem Abriss des Parkgebäudes) fand jedes Jahr im Oktober der so genannte Omen Memorial Day (1999–2004), beziehungsweise (seit 2005) die Omenforum Technoclassics statt, letztmals am 18. Oktober 2008.
Die früheren Betreiber des Omens Sven Väth und Matthias Martinsohn gründeten im Jahr 2004 den Cocoon Club und waren bis zu dessen Eröffnung einmal im Monat im U60311 zu Gast.

The journey continues with 13, a ritualistic, dark disco invocation. Driven by wild percussions and a spellbinding groove, the track conjures an almost supernatural energy—whispers of witchcraft layered atop a hypnotic bassline, inviting the listener to surrender to its mysterious rhythm.

There are not many originals like Pascal FEOS. You have to search intensively to find one like him - one of those who started earlier and is longer in the game than most of the others.

Pascal FEOS is what magazines like to call a "true original": he is partof the old-school, of those, who learned their skills from scratch. Since more than 28 years Pascal FEOS is playing the very special and individual style of his music around the globe. Besides he´s producing, remixing and managing his labels, nerdish and staying true to his roots as always. You can feel immediately that this "old-school"consciousness is living in every inch of his body. No matter if you are getting to know him as a DJ behind a set of turntables or if you hear one of his many productions - the impact, that Pascal FEOS has on others, is truly original.

The philosophy with which Pascal FEOS is managing his labels is closely linked to his personal idea of the DJ. He himself is one of those DJs who understand their work as a mission rather than as a platform to draw a lot of attention on their person. His whole attention belongs to the dance floor and to the next record which is only destined for the dancers. Pascal calls this approach "club-dedicated without a doubt" - and he definitely knows what he is talking about. "Iam happy", he says, "that this is also my point of view when working in the studio". Understanding the needs of the dancefloor, to know your business and to be able to work with all the equipment in your studio by yourself are the minimum standards that Pascal has for his own artistic work.

Being responsible for 5 solo albums, over 200 releases and hundreds of remixes it is only right that this attitude gets him a lot of respect and success. In his discography one is able to find a range of popular names embracing the likes of Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth or AnneClark. As DJ, producer and remixer he counts to the most sought after artist in the field of electronic music and his work has already led him to all continents of the world. The future will show which heights Pascal will reach with his firm belief in substance, qualityand consistency. One thing is sure: this man knows that he has yet away to go..
