It has been a few fantastic months with the world slowly but steadily opening up again and people finally being able to gather, dance, hug and laugh together. And we are all about it! After keeping the groove ship going through it all, we are ready to celebrate the dance floor comeback in big style! That is why we are more than excited to present to you our SNOEflakes #11. One of our most beloved formats is back, four artist, four fantastic tracks, four different stories to tell. A mix between new and old friends, just how we like it.

First off is one of the new SNOE family members, Daniel Neuland. He is known for his playful and elegant moves between genres, and enters our spotlight with a fantastically bouncy and driving tune. “Back To Church” is carried by a rolling groove, heavy hitting bassline and catchy vocal elements that follow the roaring synth in a full on frenzy of energy.

Labelboss Beth Lydi is up next. Inspired by her once incredibly hike in Nepal she joins the release with a proper energy boost. “Annapurna” is an ode to the days spent between mountains, forests, rivers and daal. A lot of wild sounds and an uplifting groove makes this a classic Lydi track, while the superb synths play along an in-trance-setting chorus of monks, leading us towards a drop firmly exploding in ecstasy.

We also welcome back our dear friend Kolombo. A living legend who’s style is as diverse, qualitative top notch and innovative as it can get. His incredible release “4 Ever Baby” was one of a kind, supported on dance floors all over the world. And now he is back with his new tune “Body Talks”. Kind of electro inspired, this massive whirlwind of wicked synths, on point drums and wild hi-hats is packed to the brim with dark energy. It just sucks you in, and it is clear that Kolombo is ready to take you on a ride into a dirty and sweaty club night that will be hard to forget.

Last, but definitely not least we are very excited to introduce two new faces to the SNOE family, hailing from the US. Memo Rex and Wendigo made a track destined to land on SNOE, you instantly know why when you hear it. Bass-heavy and groovy, “101” carries a whole lot of attitude and fun with its fierce bassline, growly synths and rambunctious percussions. It is frisky and out there, and we know these good vibes will create a lot of smiles on dance floors everywhere.

Back at It (Chus & Ceballos Remix)

SNOE welcomes the talented and versatile producer PAONS to the family. As part of T.M.A and one of the masterminds behind the label and event series LUKINS, PAONS is known as an artist both dedicated to making genre bending music himself and creating platforms for other artists to grow on. During the last year he founded a new project where he could express a new side of his artistry, and the result you can hear in “Fargo EP”. 

The title track twirls between a driving groove, rouge synths and a wild bassline that create a big energy together. Its catchy rhythms are accompanied by vocal elements that play with the busy city background, giving us a modern, urban vibe. Secondly, “Aput” takes control. The beat is slightly rougher and get’s you straight in to a dancy mood. A playful synth and funky chords keep the atmosphere somewhere between a little moody and a little naughty, as if we have a dark and smoky jazz club on one side, and a pumping dance floor on the other. We meet in the middle.

Label boss Beth Lydi was immediately taken by the tunes, and decided to join in on the fun with her own take on “Fargo”. She pulls and pushes us into a more techy direction with her stomping groove and sassy sounds. Experimenting with elements from the original, it is twisted, but in a good way. The remix is a heavy hitter perfectly rounding up this diverse and genre crossing release. Just how we like it.

There are not many originals like Pascal FEOS. You have to search intensively to find one like him - one of those who started earlier and is longer in the game than most of the others.

Pascal FEOS is what magazines like to call a "true original": he is partof the old-school, of those, who learned their skills from scratch. Since more than 28 years Pascal FEOS is playing the very special and individual style of his music around the globe. Besides he´s producing, remixing and managing his labels, nerdish and staying true to his roots as always. You can feel immediately that this "old-school"consciousness is living in every inch of his body. No matter if you are getting to know him as a DJ behind a set of turntables or if you hear one of his many productions - the impact, that Pascal FEOS has on others, is truly original.

The philosophy with which Pascal FEOS is managing his labels is closely linked to his personal idea of the DJ. He himself is one of those DJs who understand their work as a mission rather than as a platform to draw a lot of attention on their person. His whole attention belongs to the dance floor and to the next record which is only destined for the dancers. Pascal calls this approach "club-dedicated without a doubt" - and he definitely knows what he is talking about. "Iam happy", he says, "that this is also my point of view when working in the studio". Understanding the needs of the dancefloor, to know your business and to be able to work with all the equipment in your studio by yourself are the minimum standards that Pascal has for his own artistic work.

Being responsible for 5 solo albums, over 200 releases and hundreds of remixes it is only right that this attitude gets him a lot of respect and success. In his discography one is able to find a range of popular names embracing the likes of Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth or AnneClark. As DJ, producer and remixer he counts to the most sought after artist in the field of electronic music and his work has already led him to all continents of the world. The future will show which heights Pascal will reach with his firm belief in substance, qualityand consistency. One thing is sure: this man knows that he has yet away to go..
