It’s been a long time coming but finally we’re very pleased to welcome
back Nils Penner to the family fold.  His Munich/Berlin EP from 2 years
ago still sounds the business when dropped today and he’s clearly a
talented producer who puts quality before quantity when it comes to
releases.  As one half of Penner and Muder Nils has been responsible for
giving us such classics as Presence Of Another Man and their sublime remix
of Around Your Neck by Fiakun Team.  But he’s definitely a force to be
reckoned with when going solo too as his recent EP on Compost will attest
to.

Here on I Can Be, Nils continues where he left off creating a brilliant
electronic house track with his own unique style shining bright.  Loose,
jazzy drums keep things from getting too heavy whilst the vocal makes sure
this one keeps the classic vibes intact.

Flipping over we have Pittsburgh Track Authority delivering their remix of
I Can Be, where things get toughened up, stripped to the core and force-
fed more steroids than is strictly healthy.  Jacked up funky techno is the
end result, but this is deep and rolling techno with a bounce in it’s step
and a cheeky glint in it’s eye. Simply adorable if you ask us.

Finally, things close out with State Of Mind, a modern day torch-song for
the lonely, a hymn for the lost generation, or simply a deep and moody
tale of lost nights on the dancefloor and lost marbles the next morning.

His production skills are amongst the very best in this industry, and we are honored to have signed his emotional and bassline driven 'Luv Can Turn Around' and the more groovy 'Filterloop' tracks. DJ Legende, Produzenten-Ikone, Avantgardist, Pionier. Nur wenige Menschen haben die Musikszene der letzten 28 Jahre durch ihr Schaffen so nachhaltig geprägt wie Pascal FEOS. 4 Solo Alben, über 200 Releases und zig hundert Remixe gehen auf sein Konto.

There are not many originals like Pascal FEOS. You have to search intensively to find one like him - one of those who started earlier and is longer in the game than most of the others.

Pascal FEOS is what magazines like to call a "true original": he is partof the old-school, of those, who learned their skills from scratch. Since more than 28 years Pascal FEOS is playing the very special and individual style of his music around the globe. Besides he´s producing, remixing and managing his labels, nerdish and staying true to his roots as always. You can feel immediately that this "old-school"consciousness is living in every inch of his body. No matter if you are getting to know him as a DJ behind a set of turntables or if you hear one of his many productions - the impact, that Pascal FEOS has on others, is truly original.

The philosophy with which Pascal FEOS is managing his labels is closely linked to his personal idea of the DJ. He himself is one of those DJs who understand their work as a mission rather than as a platform to draw a lot of attention on their person. His whole attention belongs to the dance floor and to the next record which is only destined for the dancers. Pascal calls this approach "club-dedicated without a doubt" - and he definitely knows what he is talking about. "Iam happy", he says, "that this is also my point of view when working in the studio". Understanding the needs of the dancefloor, to know your business and to be able to work with all the equipment in your studio by yourself are the minimum standards that Pascal has for his own artistic work.

Being responsible for 5 solo albums, over 200 releases and hundreds of remixes it is only right that this attitude gets him a lot of respect and success. In his discography one is able to find a range of popular names embracing the likes of Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth or AnneClark. As DJ, producer and remixer he counts to the most sought after artist in the field of electronic music and his work has already led him to all continents of the world.
