Estudiante universitario de la ciudad de San Luis Potosí, un poco hippie, medio radical, excéntrico. Los géneros que escucho en mayor medida son los relacionados con la música electrónica en todas sus variedades, desde el dub, hip hop, chillout, deep house, techno, progressive, psytrance, darkpsy, dark progressive, etc., inclusive hip-hop. Aunque también gusto de géneros musicales diferentes y versátiles tales como el reggae, ska, instrumental, rock, blues, (heavy metal),  (punk), rap o hasta una que otra balada romántica, jaja, canción de protesta, rock psicodélico, etc.


Cristal clear lakes, impressive mountains, soothing forests and Berlin Techno music.

In 2016, ʁɑʊ̯ˀn (RAVN) and Aerz's paths crossed and they soon hooked up for some studio sessions. 
Turns out their interests pair up well both musically and personally - within a matter of days the idea came up to create a platform that somehow combines all of their favorite passions. Hike was born. 

As the name suggests, both label founders embrace extensive inspiring nature hikes to recharge their creativity. In order to combine both worlds they not only strive for high-end productions, but also to share their close affinity to nature. 
Thus each release offers an elaborate description of the hiking area that directly influenced its compositions, while the cover design features a local mineral.

Hike embodies contemporary Techno music that goes beyond tradition, by dipping into new-school spaces, while staying true to the "roots" - both acoustically and geologically.

Hi all and thanks for looking! I'm just a fan of dance music really and I like most kinds, but especially Acid Techno. I left the army in 1991 and got into the club scene of Muenster, Gelsenkirchen, Dusseldorf and Dortmund. Many fantastic times, (from what I can remember!) Awesome clubs like the old 'Keller' in Muenster, in aan old abandoned warehouse complex of some kind. Absolutely amazing parties in there before 'elf and safety' closed it down for not having a fire escape! Ratinger Hof and then after hours in Ramrod, both in Dusseldorf. One of my old favourites, the fantastic 'Groove Club' in Gelsenkirchen. Important Recrds held a release party there and I'll never forget this sweet little thing dancing with me in a kind of Star Trek mini dress, or t-shirt....! But I digress, simply amazing times I had. Tried clubbing when I returned to the UK, but I found the scene not half as friendly as in Germany, and also a lot more posers I felt. More emphasis on what you should wear and who to be seen with than just having a good time and dancing your fucking ass off!! For over a decade, Pascal Hetzel has been a steady presence in Berlin's large electronic music community. He developed a knack for long free flowing hardware jam sessions, that traversed the whole spectrum of electronic dance music from dark, industrial-tinged techno to classic motor city electro and italo disco-appreciating euphoria. In addition to his work as one half of CYRK, Pascal Hetzel continues to make a name for himself as a solo artist. His sound is deeply influenced by Detroit techno’s rich legacy. His first release on Juan Atkins’ groundbreaking Metroplex label that got released in June 2025, marks another milestone in his career. It’s his first solo release since his EP on another Detroit-based label: Interdimensional Transmissions’ sub-label Eye Teeth and his solo-album on the Belgian label Arkham Audio. Rest assured, there is more to come, both with CYRK and as a solo artist.
