Biography:
The sound of Xyiz is originally influenced by the dry, brute and urban sound of the early days of dub techno in germany. Robert aka Xyiz grew up in a small town in the middle of Germany. After initially playing guitar in a young punk rock band, he started discovering electronic music production at 16 and quickly began to develop a passion for experimental sound design and groovy rhythms. At the age of 17 he also started djing on vinyl, at that time still in the genre of DrumʼnʼBass. In 2016 he finally found a genre which is very open to atmospheric and interesting but still danceable rhythms and sound design, that’s when he started producing dub techno and related styles. He startet releasing EPs on the Label Kräuterbutter Kollektiv from Dresden (DE) followed by single Tracks on Pragmat Records and Slope Point where he lately released his first EP for the Label. After a long break from playing vinyl, he lately started collecting in the rhythmic and raw styles of Dub- and Deep Techno.

Vertex is a label collaboration between Verdant Recordings [Andy Green] & Exalt Records [Jamie Bargeman] releasing underground electronic music across the deep spectrum.   

Our fourth release is from the studio of Havantepe (Ismail Genc) highly regarded and loved for his elegant, meticulously produced deep techno that has been moving dance floors and satisfying discerning minds for the last 2 decades.   His collectable and prized records have been released by Baum, 200, Grounded in Humanity, Berg Audio, Luck of Access and of course several tracks & remixes on Verdant Recs.

Rain on Window was conceived when Andy and Ismail finally got to hang out in  Istanbul a couple of summer’s ago.  There are 5 tracks on the vinyl and a bonus tracks appears on the digital release.  Overcast is sublime, emotional electro based percussion layered with signature Havantepe feels and melodies.   For Rain on Window and Condensation the bpms are taken higher for head down dub techno stompers.  Verdant regular Stojche contributes a brilliant version of Rain on Window, acknowledging the truest flavours and spirit of dub editing.    Insiders Ulf & Ralf make their debut vinyl appearance with their atmospheric bealtess, ‘Cloudburst’ reconstruction of Overcast.

Valdagger (Rugilė Valančiūtė) is a Lithuanian DJ and vinyl enthusiast known for her high-energy sets blending techno and trance sounds from the early ’90s to the late 2000s. Hailing from a small town in Lithuania, she has been an active figure in the electronic music scene since 2018.

Valdagger launched her career in two of Lithuania's most influential clubs—Lizdas and Kablys—and is currently a resident at Club Elastica, as well as a member of the Halal Club collective, which operates between Berlin and Tallinn. Her musical journey has taken her across Europe, with performances in Germany, Poland, Denmark, England, the Netherlands, Estonia, and Latvia.

Outside the club and festival circuit, Valdagger curates the diggers&daggers show on Radio Vilnius. A devoted advocate of vinyl culture, she has recently shifted more toward playing physical formats, backed by her hands-on experience in vinyl record production.

He developed a knack for long free flowing  hardware jam sessions, that traversed the whole spectrum of electronic dance music from dark, industrial-tinged techno to classic motor city electro and italo disco-appreciating euphoria. In addition to his work as one half of CYRK, Pascal Hetzel continues to make a name for himself as a solo artist. His sound is deeply influenced by Detroit techno’s rich legacy. His first release on Juan Atkins’ groundbreaking Metroplex label, to be released in May 2025, marks another milestone in his career. It’s his first solo release since his EP on another Detroit-based label: Interdimensional Transmissions’ sub-label Eye Teeth and his solo-album on the Belgian label Arkham Audio. Rest assured, there is more to come, both with CYRK and as a solo artist.
