Ahead of Amniote Editions’ 5 year anniversary night at Bassiani on the 6th of December (cancelled due to street protests) comes a very special mix from Munich’s finest, BASHKKA. Derived from the Turkish word for ‘different’ (she has roots there), the name reflects a no f*cks given approach to sound and culture that draws people toward her like moth to flame. From formative days in New York City where she started taking inspiration from its wealth of queer histories, she carved an insubordinate sound that’s crossed the Atlantic and set up shop in her native Germany, where her liberating tunes have found common cause with such venues as Blitz Club, Panorama Bar and Amsterdam’s Raum just a hop and a skip across the border. The aim is to reclaim spaces, assert the existence of marginalised groups (SWANA people like herself for one), amplify their narratives and create moments’ where ‘individual heartbeats merge into one motherbeat’. Further to those activist visions, her debut EP Maktub (2023) was a five-track banger and labour of love that synthesised Kurdish vocal samples with runaway beats. The reference to overlooked perspectives and elusive spark found at the intersection of culture and sound is the driving force, and something that’s felt in the gut when she plays. It’s a much needed energy in turbulent times, a reminder that you can save the world and have fun doing it. For Bassiani Podcast 242, BASHKKA brings her inimitable rhythms to the fore of the counter-cultural struggle: brazen and rave-ready, a two-hour trip to the future, slamming beats from a true icon.

For the third episode of NAX Invites we welcome Malauva, an up-and-coming producer and DJ based in Madrid. With releases on labels such as Malaonda and STAMM, he is also a co-founder of Escaparate, a collective that gives visibility to emerging artists and curates the Gazpacho nights at Madrid’s iconic Sala Specka.
His sound gravitates around techno but is defined by its versatility. For NAX 03, Malauva delivers a powerful and immersive mix, full of energy and flow from start to finish.

Born and raised in Rome, Luigi Tozzi is undoubtedly one of the most prolific and outstanding talents of his generation to come out of Italy. Slip into any record store worth its salt, or clubs from Tbilisi to Lisbon and you’ll find traces of his work there; his signature sound has sold its share of records true, but also deeply influenced the work of many of his contemporaries. His expansive compositions intimately tied to the space they’re heard in, circling in perfect arcs below the water’s surface, where sunlight becomes scarce and a connection with sound paramount. Reformulating not only dub. techno and ambient, but a trove of memories diving off the coast of Sicily’s neighbour Salina (and with the help of analog digital tools, VSTs and controllers during live performances), Tozzi has developed a mastery for hypnotic rhythms like nothing you’ve heard before. His close working relationship with Swedish output Hypnus, as well as Outis and Non-Series have pushed his aquatic sound to it’s absolute limit, creating a world of poignant textures that have given his genre the gift of new horizons. Here he visits the Podcast for an epic 128 minutes that delve into his abyssal world, haunting rumbles and immersive techno, a ghostly, shimmering live-set recorded at Bassiani.

Degen is a berlin raised, devoted vinyl selector with a deep passion for old-school techno, trance gems, and tech-house nuggets. From pulsating basslines to subtle, progressive tunes, he mesmerizes listeners from the first to the very last record.
With his meticulously curated collection, Degen crafts vibrant, immersive storytelling that is referring strongly to the 90s and opposing current trends with an original approach. 

As one half of 4Meter Duo and member of Scheissmukke and Ringelpietz, Degen co-hosts parties at several venues like Tresor or Fitzroy. Keep an ear out!

TILT.cast 31 Degen

Pascal Hetzel has been a steady presence in Berlin's large electronic music community. He emerged with a strong focus on long, free-flowing hardware jam sessions that traverse the whole spectrum of electronic dance music, from dark, industrial-tinged techno to classic Motor City electro and Italo disco-appreciating euphoria. In addition to his work as one half of CYRK, Pascal Hetzel continues to make a name for himself as a solo artist. His sound is
deeply influenced by Detroit techno's rich legacy. His first release on Juan Atkins' groundbreaking Metroplex label,
which came out in June 2025, marks another milestone in his career. It's his first solo release since his EP on
another Detroit-based label: Interdimensional Transmissions' sub-label Eye Teeth, and his solo album on
the Belgian label Arkham Audio. Early next year, he will also release an EP on Marco Bailey's label Materia, further expanding his footprint in the global techno landscape. Rest assured, there is more to come — both with CYRK
and as a solo artist.
